General Manager Bank of Baroda, Jaipur Region, 4th Floor Anand Bhawan, Sansar Chandra Road, Japur - 302001 invites separate sealed tender in two bid system prequalification technical bid and commercial bid separately for empanelment of venders to supply and installation of NOTE COUNTING MACHINE, configuration / specification of which mentioned in Annexure-III at various branches of Bank of Baroda in Jaipur Region.. Reputed companies, Manufacturers, authorized dealers and suppliers fulfill eligibility conditions requirement may apply. Application forms may be downloaded from Banks website http://www.bankofbaroda.com/tender.asp and submitted along with necessary documents as required and DD/Bankers Cheque towards cost of tender and earnest money in favoring Bank of Baroda, Jaipur along with Technical Bid Only. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Venders should submit the tenders only in the desired format in two envelop as per two bid system so as to reach this office by 2.00 pm on 04.09.2010.. Submission of tenders in any other format will not be entertained & will be summarily rejected.
The separate envelopment containing "Technical Bid" & "Financial Bid" should be super scribed as "TECHNICAL BID" and separate envelop containing for "Financial Bid" should be scribed for providing, supplying and installation of NOTE COUNTING MACHINE.
Tender cost amount of Rs. 100/- through DD/Bankers cheque in favour of Bank of Baroda, Payable at Jaipur.
Earnest Money amount of Rs. 5000/- through DD/Bankers cheque in favour of Bank of Baroda, Payable at Jaipur.

Rates for providing and supplying of NOTE COUNTING MACHINE, as per the commercial bid/offer Performa ONLY IN THE FORMAT GIVEN AS ANNEXURE-IV in separate envelop containing "COMMERCIAL BID" should be super scribed.
Vender may submit the tender only in the desired format as explained further.
The bank reserves the right to reject all or any tender without assigning any reason; or to call for fresh tender at any time at its own option. Further, venders who do not qualify for the technical specifications, stress test will not be called for opening of the commercial quote

Please complete the specifications in Annexure I, II & III carefully before submitting your tender. The tender should also indicate the tentative cost of each of the item separately.
Installation and commissioning of the machines are the responsibility of the vender till the 72 hours testing the equipment is successfully carried out to the satisfaction of the bank, as also during the warranty period of the equipment supplied.
While quotations for configuration (as decided by the Bank) lower in capacity will not be considered, no weightage will be given for configuration higher in capacity and low in cost.
Tenders not fulfilling any or all the conditions prescribed or which are incompletes are liable to be rejected.
Terms and conditions, governing the purchases of the equipment are detailed in the enclosed Annexure-V.
No changes whatsoever will be permitted in the technical and commercial quotes after opening the quotes.
The earnest money deposit of all the unsuccessful bidders will be returned within a period of 30 days from the date of opening of received tenders. However, in case of the lowest/successful bidders backing out from the term and conditions mentioned in tender document or refused to honor his tender, the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
Bank reserve the right to cancel one or all tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.

BANK OF BARODA RAJASTHAN ZONE, JAIPUR ELIGIBLE CRITERIA FOR TECHNICAL BID


The firm must be in existence for the last 5 years with experience in this sector/Business. He must be company/Manufacturer/Authorized Dealer/Suppliers of company.
Vender must have to Main office/Sub office/Branch Office & as well as established workshop at Jaipur.
Firm must have valid Sales Tax/VAT/Service Tax Number.
PAN NO. and must have filed Income Tax Return for last 3 years.
Firm apply for tender must be in related business for a minimum of 5 years and have a total average work order of not less then Rs.10/- lacs per year pertaining to sale and service during the last 3 years.
Warranty/Guarantee period must be for minimum for three year. Thereafter AMC period of 3 years.
Company/Vendor shall not be black listed by RBI or any nationalised Bank.
Any AMC/Rate contract pertaining to the vendor must not have been terminated or not renewed, by any establishment for the service of poor services.
The vendor fulfilling the conditions as per eligibility should only apply and lapses tender will be rejected without information.
Bidder shall submit document of authorization from Manufacturers to Indian dealer/ from India dealers to the vendor supply/installing the equipment to your firm.
The vendor shall not directly or indirectly sublet the work to other party.
The relative documentary proof in respect of above eligibility criteria must accompany the tender.
Banks reserve to right to cancel one or all tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.
The conditional tenders are likely to be rejected.
The defect liability period : The defect or other part which may appear during the defect liability period which is 12 months after the installation of machine, arising in the opinion of Bank due to inferior quality of material or bad work ship not in accordance with the contract, contractor shall make good at his own cost within a reasonable time.
In the bid, the vendor shall also submit details catalogs, data sheet etc for each of the products quoted.
The bidders authorization from the manufacturing that the items quoted by the tendered are in production and would be serviceable for at least 3 years from the date of tender. No obsolete product should be quoted.

Annexure II COMMERCIAL BID GENERAL CONDITIOINS :
The Rates quoted must be only in Performa attached herwith (Annexure-IV)
The rates must be Net Rates inclusive of all taxes. However, if taxes are payable the same may be specified separately as per Performa.
The Rates quoted must be only be for the product having configuration/technical specification given in the tender document.
The rates quoted must be net rates for each component and for the respective proposed package for machine with configuration mentioned therein. The rates must be inclusive of all levies i.e. Excise duty, Sales tax, Turnover Taxes, Installation charges any other taxes/charges.
However, if taxes are payable the same may be specified separately as per Performa. (Annexure-IV)
No local tax/levies/transport/octroi etc is payable separately.
The rates quoted will be binding for a period 3 months form the date of placing order and no increase whatsoever will be considered during the contract period. In the event of any breach of contract, the Security Deposit will be forfeited.
The delivery/installation of the machine will be as early as possible but not later then 15 days from date of placing order. Any delay will be subject to penalty @ Rs.200/- per day unless the delay is beyond one's control and accepted by bank.
No advance will be paid by the bank.
90% of cost of the eligible payment will be made by the Bank with in -90- days after successful installation and running of the machine upon submission of the bill accompanied with the required papers & documents and satisfactory installation, rest 10% of the cost will be payable after 12 months of installation or successful running of machine.
The vendor will have to enter into an formal agreement containing terms and conditions as approved by bank for providing/installation as well as Annual maintenance of the machine.
The earnest money deposit of all unsuccessful bidders will be returned within a period of 30 days from the date of opening of the tender. However, in case of the lowest/successful bidder backing out from the terms and conditions mentioned in his tender or refusing to honors his tender, the earnest money deposit by him will be forfeited. Bank may award tender to next bidder or may cancel all tenders without assigning any reasons.
Any complaints after installation of the system and within the guarantee period will be attended to and rectified with in - 4- hours or latest by same day of the lodging of the complaints by the office. Any lapse in this regards will be treated as lapse in after sales service or unsatisfactory after sales service.
Bank reserve the right to cancel one or all tender without assigning any reason.
Vender must have fulfilled all the specification and Term and conditions mention in tender form, otherwise tender may cancelled without information.
No conditional discount will be considered. The tender with any conditional discount will not be entertained and will be summarily rejected.
Vender must specify the period of warranty available with product. 7


While quoting price, vendor should ensure that; a)

Price quoted are inclusive of three years of AMC after warranty/Guarantee period. b) Price quoted are exclusive of all local taxes and entry tax, if any. Taxes if any should be quoted separately. c) Delivery period must be clearly specified.
Rate of AMC after expiry of warranty period must be quoted along with quotes.
All agent/engineer must be able to provide satisfactory services.
The firm shall provide training on finalization of various equipment/machines and its functionalities to Bank staff free of cost.
After installation of machine if any problem in respect of machine will be repaired within 3 days or change the complete machine in major problem. I have read and understood all the terms and condition the tender and undertake to able by them for this purpose I undertaking to enter into agreement & AMC separately.
