Scholarship: CSIR Research Scholarship 1982-1991 INSA-Poland exchange fellowship NSC visiting scientist fellowship –Taiwan Visiting Researcher, Univ. of Lyon, France Brain Pool fellowship (South Korea) JSPS (Japan) High School 1975 Aligarh Muslim University First Division PUC 1976 Aligarh Muslim University First Division B.Sc. (Hons) 1979 Aligarh Muslim University First Division M.Sc. 1981 Aligarh Muslim University First Division Ph.D. 1988 University of Rajasthan Title of Ph.D. thesis: Bimetallic alkoxides of Tin and Antimony & Phenoxides of Aluminum and Antimony. Field of specialization: Material science, Sol-gel, Metal Alkoxide, structural characterization and Structural-property relationship to establish the functional properties in nanoparticles Research Theme: Solid state chemistry Molecular chemistry Nanoscience Research & Industrial Interest: My research focus with better fundamental understanding to design a molecular precursor via green synthesis then transform to their corresponding functional nanomaterials with well defined shape and size. The characterization and physical properties of multifunctional nano-hybrid materials was carried out by using analytical techniques. The insight information from micro to nanoscale help us to design technology based new smart materials with multifunctional novel properties also help to understand their relationships with correct composition, structure, solid–state physical and chemical properties for its wide range of applications. Since 1989, I have been working on industrial projects based on synthesis and characterization of new molecular precursor, which have direct relevance for the synthesis of functional nanostructured materials with desired chemical reactivity and physical properties suitable for designing ceramic materials and other sensor devices via soft chemical approach. I have good knowledge in

interpretation of data’s required with the help of following techniques such as Mass spectroscopy, NMR, TGA-MS, XPS, Raman, TEM, EDX, TGA –DTA, SEM, X-Ray diffraction etc. Papers presented at National conferences: 1.
