Features

3.1

BiLED

4 (5)

Reference

The biLED is on when voltage on INPUT-POWER-LED or INPUT-POWER-LED-YELLOW is above ~2 V, but needs at least ~12 V to not be dimmed down. 3.1.1

Audio amplifier and green LED The audio amplifier will be functional down to ~3 V, but at least 5 V is recommended. At lower voltage then ~12 V, the green LED will be slightly dimmed down. The microphone is specified to work well within the frequency range 50 Hz to 16 kHz.

3.2

Output from push button The voltage at the OUTPUT-BUTTON pin is 0 V when button isn't pushed. When the button is being pushed, the voltage at the OUTPUT-BUTTON pin is about ~0.6 V lower then the highest input voltage. All four inputs can be used to power the button, INPUT-ON, INPUTVOLTAGE, INPUT-POWER-LED and INPUT-POWER-LED-YELLOW. INPUT-VOLTAGE is the only input which powers the button without activating any other function.

4

Power

4.1

Power consumption

4.1.1

Consumption on INPUT-VOLTAGE Nothing except the button is being used. The current drawn on the OUTPUT-BUTTON output will of course be reflected here, but if the OUTPUT-BUTTON output doesn't supply any current, the consumption on INPUT-VOLTAGE is zero. 0 mA @ 24 V 0 mA @ 12 V

4.1.2

Consumption on INPUT-ON Green single LED is on, audio amplifier is on and biLED is off. 16mA @ 24 V 8mA @ 12 V

4.1.3

Consumption on INPUT-POWER-LED or INPUT-POWER-LED-YELLOW INPUT-ON is low, so green single LED is off and audio amplifier is off. Green or yellow LED in biLED is on. 17 mA @ 24 V 8 mA @ 12 V

4.2

Input voltage Input voltage range: 8 – 36 V DC 12-30 V is the recommended input voltage.
