swimming races will take place on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th of June 2015. If necessary, on Sunday morning 28th of June, 2015.
Venue: Swimmingpool Hoornse Vaart Hertog Aalbrechtweg 4, 1823 DL Alkmaar The athletes can compete in the following events: – 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m freestyle – 50m, 100m, 200m backstroke – 50m, 100m, 200m breaststroke – 50m, 100m, 200m butterfly – 200m medley – 4 x 100m freestyle relay – 4 x 100m medley relay

Swimmingpool Hoornse Vaart is located adjacent to the Olympic village and can be reached on foot from the Olympic Village and with our shuttle buses from other (sports) venues. The swimming races take place at Swimming pool Hoornse Vaart, which has an indoor 50m swimming pool with 8 swimming lanes. For years this 50m pool was an outdoor pool, but since 2004 it has been covered so that swimming is possible throughout the year. The 50m pool is not the only pool. For the recreational users there is a 25m pool (which will be used as a warming-up pool during the ICG), a wave pool and a large outdoor pool, among other things.

ALKMAAR 2015 Tennis Courts De Hout is located at approx. 4 km from the Olympic village and can be reached with our shuttle buses. Tennis Courts De Hout has 9 clay courts, which are even playable in winter. The ICG is not the only international event at the tennis courts. Every year a Future Tournament is organised at De Hout. During this tournament the 250 – 500 rankings from all over the world come to Alkmaar to gather points for the world rankings.
