Teacher’s day Celebration Teacher’s day was celebrated on 5th September 2015 in the college auditorium. Program Timings: 10:30 – 12:30 Program Host: Raziya (M I B) Chief Guest: Principal Dr. Muddu Vinay The event was conducted to celebrate the Teacher’s day by students. The Second year students took the initiative to organize this event. The event started with an invocation song, followed with principal address on Teacher’s Day to all the students. The event was successful with its basket of activities such as games, cultural performances from students, songs and a good note at the end by Head of the Department.

STUDENTS DAY REPORT
Student’s day named as FESTIN O’BEATS was celebrated on 15-oct-2015 on the occasion of birthday of DR.APJ ABDUL KALAM Program timings :- 1:30pm to 4:00pm The chief guest for the day was Sashsidhar Kote. The event started with an invocation song by Shobha followed by Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam’s video was played and Ramya spoke about Dr. Kalam. Our principle Dr. Muddu Vinay spoke about the chief guest and about APJ Abdul kalam. Cultural events – 1. Guru Prasad of M.Com sang a old kannada song . 2. There was a comic skit played from m.com students ,the skit was about KBC in rural area. 3. Super minute games were played –
SUCK IT UP - players place a straw in their mouth and use suction to transfer a pile 25 M&M’s from one plate to another in under one minute. The winner was Naveen . Identifying the voice of a celeb - the audio clip was played at the back, participants should recognize the voice of a celeb. The winner was Rohit and Akash.
4. Fashion event – The winner was Aiyappa 5. Special ramp walk by our friends from Kerela was performed. 6. Vote of thanks by our HOD, Prof. Vittala Sir.

GUEST LECTURE By team Janaagraha
The event was organized by the Department of PG Commerce in co-ordination with Janaagraha the team to enlighten the students about there responsibilities to be a better citizen of the country. This Guest Lecture was organized on 22nd September 2015. Program Chief Guest: Justice Santhosh Hegde (Former Lokayuktha) Program Host: Prof. Reshma Sibichan Key Speakers of the day: Justice Santhosh Hegde, Dr S T Ramesh, Rajath Mukharjee, Mrs. Sylvia Veeraraghavan After guests address the event was followed with an interactive Question and Answer sessions by students and fellow faculty participants. This event also had faculties from various departments’ participation. The event ended at 5.00 P M.

KANNADA RAJYOTHSAVA CELEBRATIONS On November 4, 2015, Department celebrated Kannada Rajyothsava. On this occasion students wore yellow and red combination as theme dressing. The event started at 2.30 afternoon and ended by 4.00 Pm. The event was an initiative taken by first semester PG Students to celebrate this festival. The event started with Bhuvaneshwari Pooja, followed by Lighting of the Lamp.
