Tamir Hendelman

Summary Tamir Hendelman is an award winning pianist, arranger/composer and educator. He leads his own acclaimed trio and is a longtime member of the Jeff Hamilton Trio and the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra and has travelled from Alaska to New York, Thailand to Paris. An in-demand recording artist, he has toured and recorded with Barbra Streisand and Natalie Cole, recorded with Paul McCartney and Charles Aznavour and performed with James Moody, Teddy Edwards and many more. He has contributed critically acclaimed arrangements to over 50 recordings and has produced several CDs recently. His own music and arrangements have been adapted for jazz orchestra and a 115-member studio orchestra and he will be a featured classical soloist with the Winston-Salem Orchestra in May of 2014. He has over 600 clinics and master classes to his credit, and has been lecturer of Ethnomusicology at UCLA since 2005, teaching jazz piano, improvisation, keyboard harmony, arranging and composition.
