Sämtliche Stahllegierungen, aber auch Nickelbasislegierungen, werden zu hochwertigen Profilen verarbeitet.

We immensely profit from co-operating with our sister company Böhler Edelstahl in the field of melting technology. As a result, Böhler PROFIL is already able to meet particular customer needs also in terms of material. All steel alloys as well as nickel based alloys are processed to high quality profiles.

Endformnahe Spezialprofile von Böhler PROFIL bieten gegenüber Profilen, die mittels Zerspanung aus Stabstahl gefertigt werden, zwei wesentliche Vorteile: Höhere Wirtschaftlichkeit und bessere Materialeigenschaften.

Near net-shaped special profiles from Böhler PROFIL have two significant advantages compared to profiles which are manufactured by machining out of a bar: Higher economic efficiency and better material properties.

Special plants – dimensionally accurate profiles

Böhler PROFIL produziert endformnahe Spezialprofile je nach Dimension auf unterschiedlichen Anlagen. Während größere Querschnitte ihr Profil – aus Knüppelmaterial – in der offenen Walzstraße erhalten, werden kleinere Querschnitte – aus Runddrähten – auf der computergesteuerten Kontiwalzlinie gefertigt.

Böhler PROFIL produces near net-shaped special profiles depending on to the dimension on different plants. Bigger cross sections get their profiles – from billets – on the open rolling mill, whereas smaller cross sections are manufactured – from round wires – on our computer-controlled Conti-rolling line.

Das Material läuft über mehrere Verformungsstufen bzw. Walzen und durch eine exakt regelbare Erwärmungsanlage – so werden Spezialprofile von Böhler PROFIL auch höchsten Anforderungen an Verformung und Toleranzen gerecht.

The material passes through several deformation stages resp. rolls and an accurately controllable heating plant: thus Böhler PROFIL‘s special sections meet the highest demands regarding deformation and tolerances.

Auch in der Weiterverarbeitung der Spezialprofile werden durch modernste technische Verfahren kleinste Fertigungstoleranzen und hohe Prozesssicherheit garantiert. Viele der innovativen Verfahren wurden von Böhler PROFIL selbst entwickelt.

State-of-the-art technical procedures are applied in the subsequent treatment of special profiles in order to guarantee smallest production tolerances and high process security. A great number of innovative procedures were independently developed by Böhler PROFIL.
