1.Woven Labels Woven labels are the most popular and widely chosen labels due to the nature of the product. Woven labels are made using rapier weaving looms. These looms weave polyester yarns called warp and weft re-creating the logo in the form of artwork. Then the labels are woven in a tape form and cut by thermic cutters or laser. This method automatically seals the yarn to prevent fraying. Woven labels are very durable, launders better in the long run (than printed label), and is also soft on the skin. Besides these, even an intricate artwork will convert into a beautful woven label. Every client has a unique project of their own and that calls for a tailor made label. We specialize is custom made woven labels. All we require is your artwork in JPG format and the size of your label. With that we can make a sample of your label in 2-4 days. You can choose to have the label made in Polyester damask, Tafetta or Satin. We also offer Raw Cotton, Bamboo and High Definition weave. Polyester Damask Label The most common type of woven labels are Polyester damask. Damask is made up of polyester yarn, which comes in hundreds of colors, making color matching with your artwork an easy job. We use either 50 danier or 100 danier yarn. The word “danier” refers to the size of the thread. The 50denier damask yarn is half the size of the 100denier damask yarn, and hence we can weave fine detail with precision and they feel soft too. If you are looking for quality labels, but don’t have a complex design, the 100denier damask yarn will be good. This weave is extremely high quality, sturdy and soft making them highly popular in the market. Tafetta Label Woven Taffeta labels are a polyester based plain woven thread. They are chosen to keep the cost down where high quality is not very important. They tend to be scratchy when in contact with the skin and so it is not suggested for use as a neck tag. It is more suitable for outerwear or accessories. They are very durable though. Satin Label Satin Woven labels use a polyester based lustrous thread which is soft and smooth. They give a nice look as it has a subtle sheen. Good quality results can be produced using a single needle or broadloom set-up. Satin labels are cut with an ultrasonic cutter for smooth edges and so they do not scratch when it rubs on the skin.
