MICRO & MACRO HACKLE JIGS Our Micro & Macro hackle jigs are tied using beautiful hackle feathers that are palmered onto a blood-red Daiichi Bleeding Bait hook. Instead of lead for the jig heads, we use environmentally friendly solid brass beads. The finest hackle feathers are then selected and palmered onto the hook shank creating a very enticing yet subtle offering. Once in the water, the palmered feathers come to life giving the jig a full look that is different from anything else out there. These jigs are perfect for low, clear water conditions where a small presentation is the key for getting steelhead to take your offering. Our Macro jigs are tied on a #6 jig hook and weigh approximately 1/64 oz.

We take a minimum of four large marabou feathers and palmer them one at a time onto a stout 3/0 or 5/0 Owner Saltwater, needle-point jig hook. A touch of matching Krystal Flash is added for a finishing touch. These baseball size jigs are made specifically for King salmon but can also be used for large steelhead, Coho and Chum salmon too.
