2013 Schedule of Assisted Performances Audio Description

AUSLAN interpreted

Audio description is a service provided for patrons who are blind or have low vision. Trained audio describers provide live, verbal descriptions of the visual elements of a performance that patrons listen to via a free FM radio receiver and earpiece. Touch-tours before the performance assist patrons to capture the atmosphere, costumes, and characters of the performance.

Experienced AUSLAN (Australian Sign Language) theatre interpreters stand to the side of the stage and interpret the performance.
