Swing At Home™ Golf Swing Practice System Setup Instructions 1. First thing first, safety. Golf swing is very violent action and it will cause severe damage or injury if the club hit something other than the practice balls. So, alert everyone in the house you are going to practice golf swing and make sure that nobody (including kids and pets) will not run into your swing plane while you swinging. 2. Assemble the Swing At Home™ target as instructed in the assembly instructions. 3. Select a practice site at least 15 feet in length (along the swing direction), 10 feet in width and 9 feet height (taller golfer may need more room). Just may sure that the site is big enough for you to swing a golf club and not hit anything. 4. Place the swing target at one end of the selected site. The side with printed golf course scene and accuracy lines is for you to strike the practice golf balls onto. 5. The accuracy lines are precalculated for a hitting spot exact 7 feet from the target. Place the golf mat about 5 to 6 feet away in front of the swing target. Placing the practice ball on the swing mat exactly 7 feet from the target when practice swing. 6. Aiming your swing to the center vertical line, or the aiming spot down to the bottom.

7. Using your regular golf clubs, swing at the designated practice balls onto the target panel. You can practice all the kinds of swing you want.

Warning •

Only the supplied practice golf balls can be used with Swing At Home™ golf swing practice system. Any other kind of golf balls may cause damage to the target or other properties.

The designated and supplied practice golf balls are very soft. But the blunt momentum of a practice ball after been stroke by golf club may cause damage to any fragile object if hit by the ball, such as window glass. So, make sure that there is no fragile object can be hit or knock down by the flying practice balls due to miss swing.

Tips •

Using a big enough area rag (not included in the package) to protect the floor and for you to stand on. The constant grinding of your feet while swinging may cause damage to the floor.

Make sure your shoes are not slippery on the floor or area rag. The shoes should be snug fit your feet, so no internal slippage.

Place a coin, between the target and swing mat, as an alternative aiming spot. Just like you are doing when playing golf on course.

Car garage may be a very good alternative practice site.

How Does Swing At Home™ Golf Swing Practice System Work The target panel is made of a special material. When the designated practice ball hit on the panel, it will leave a temporary ball mark. This ball mark is then used for read the swing accuracy of launch angle and off-center angle. The printed lines on the panel depict the calculated grid of launch angles (horizontal lines) and off-center angle (vertical lines). When the panel hit by a practice ball again, all previously left ball marks in the approximate area on the panel will be erased by the impact, only create a new ball mark for that stroke. So the golfer will be able to read his current swing accuracy and not confused by early shots. The designated practice golf balls are much softer and lighter than a standard golf balls. Not only it is much safer to use the designated practice ball for swing at home, but also that these balls will behave proportionally similar to the standard golf balls in flight patterns. Specially these balls will spin similarly as compare to standard balls when stroke by identical swings. The proper friction force, which is generated when the practice ball impact the surface of the panel, will make the ball bounce back tilted to the opposite direction of the ball spin. i.e. A sliced ball will bounce back to the left of the ball mark. A hooked ball will bounce back to the right of the ball mark. Backspin ball will bounce back down warding. The more the ball spins the more pronounced tilt of the bounce back. Swing At Home™ golf swing practice system is good for practice for all kinds of golf swing from full swing to chipping, including draw or fade. Summarize the features and benefits as following: •

How To Read The Results When practice swing, place the ball 7 feet from the center of the target. Aiming at the center of the target panel, swing and strike the ball onto the panel. When ball hit onto the target panel, the ball mark location on grid give you the read of the launch angle and off-center angle of your swing. •

Launch Angles are represented by the horizontal lines on the target panel. The floor level is 0 degree radius. Each line represent the angle from the spot on the floor level 7 feet in front of the target panel. The degrees in radius of each launch angle line is indicated by the number on the sides. Off-center Angle and Center Line, The center line is the slightly thicker vertical line located in the center of the target panel. This is the target line as is if you are playing golf on golf course. Any spot on the slightly out-warding vertical lines represent the angle off the center at same horizontal level of that spot. The degrees in radius of each off-center angle line is indicated by the number at the bottom. For each 3 degrees of radius of the center is about 5% off in distance. For example, for a 200-yard shot, 3 degrees off center is about 5% or 10 yards off to the right or left. 6 degrees off is about 10% or 20 yards off.
