SUPPLIER SUBSTANCE DECLARATION FOR BATTERIES Under its sole responsibility, Supplier declares to Intermec Technologies Corporation that: 1. Its processes and procedures conform to the requirements of Module A of the DECISION No 768/2008/EC OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 09 JUL 2008, and that its manufacturing processes, that are under its control, are consistent with 637346 Intermec RoHS Compliance Requirements, latest revision, and 633070 Intermec Battery Compliance Requirements, latest revision, and the substance limits listed below and that these processes have been followed in the manufacture of the product(s) listed below. 2. It has performed documented due diligence establishing that the materials incorporated into the product(s) listed below have been confirmed as 637346 & 633070 compliant upon receipt of the materials at its facility. 3. It has performed documented due diligence confirming that any materials or components selected by the Supplier for the product(s) listed below are 637346 & 633070 compliant prior to inclusion in the Bill of Materials (BOM). 4. Any component that Supplier cannot confirm upon receipt is compliant with 637346 & 633070 is listed in a Table of Exceptions attached to this declaration. (If all components are confirmed as 637346 & 633070 compliant per points 2 and 3, indicate N/A in the table of exceptions.) The components listed in the Table of Exceptions will be 1 considered outside the declaration for the supplier. 5. The documented due diligence referenced in points 2 and 3, above, will be maintained as an auditable record, accessible by Intermec Technologies upon request for a minimum of 10 years from date of shipment of the product listed below. Supplier is making this declaration solely to Intermec Technologies Corporation. If it is discovered that a product provided by the Supplier does not comply with 637346 & 633070, and the offending part is not listed by Supplier in the table of exceptions, Supplier’s responsibility will be limited to replacement of the product so long as Supplier has acted in good faith in acquiring the components for and in manufacturing the products listed.
