TERMS AND CONDITIONS Tenure of Scholarship 4. The scholarship awarded takes the form of a tuition fee or accommodation deductions; they are not cash rewards. Should the recipient accept any other scholarship (of any amount), this scholarship will be terminated automatically. The duration of the scholarship will end upon completion of the study period specified by Sunway University. In the event of a dispute on the eligibility for the scholarship, the decision made by the Scholarship Committee is final. If any recipient commits a breach of any of the conditions laid down by the company or in any way whatsoever misconducts himself/herself, he/she may thereupon be deprived of such award. Where an award is withdrawn due to any breach of conditions or misconduct of the recipient, any sum paid or disbursed for the benefit of the recipient shall be recoverable from the recipient plus interest at a rate of twenty per cent (20%) per annum. In addition, appropriate legal actions may be initiated and all costs thereby incurred shall be borne by the recipient. All recipients will be required to enter into a service bond as and when needed during their studies with Sunway Education Group unless waived by the company.

DECLARATION BY APPLICANT I recognise that the information constitutes representations to you whereby your judgement may be based. If at anytime hereafter you were to find such information materially false / untrue or if there is any omission, you shall be at liberty to take such action against me and my guarantor(s) including termination of any benefit granted me and recovery of any benefit hitherto extended me and all costs thereby incurred shall be borne by me.

I recognise that if any award is not a direct grant of Sunway Group / Sunway Education Group / Jeffrey Cheah Foundation but is granted by any other sponsor / donor / educational institution or any corporation, person or organisation, any subsequent failure to contribute, any discontinuance or termination, suspension or variation shall not be the responsibility of the Sunway Group / Sunway Education Group / Jeffrey Cheah Foundation and I hereby agree to waive any right of action(s) against the said companies.

I undertake to complete the course of study with diligence and within minimum time, to report to you and to furnish you progress reports / term results immediately upon their issuance to me and all receipts for payment of fees and incidental expenses.

I understand that I may have to execute a scholarship bond and to furnish you suitable guarantor(s) or form of security that I may be required to execute and sign any document prior to any award given to me.
