Abstract t Background d Inn cardiac patients, the increase in the transcranial Doppler determined middle cerebrall artery (MCA) mean flow velocity (V mean ) during exercise depends on the abilityy to increase cardiac output (Q), The aim of this study was in six patients (66 (49-76)) yr.) with complete heart block and ventricle rate adaptive pacemakers to evaluatee whether variation in heart rate (HR) affects the increase in MCA V m e a n and OO during exercise.
