Dear Friends, As we look back, 2012 was an exciting year for the Lakeland Hills Family YMCA. We celebrated our 100th anniversary as an association and celebrated our 40th year at our present location at 100 Fanny Road. The facility has made many positive changes over the years considering the original building in 1972 consisted of two locker rooms and a pool.

Last year we finished a four-year renovation plan that upgraded our fitness area, the lobby, and all four locker rooms with a cost of almost one million dollars. In 2012, we completed the launch of a new National YMCA Brand that will help clarify who we are and what we stand for. This new brand provides us a framework that will allow us to clearly communicate our cause and impact within three areas of focus: Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. We think Lakeland Hills Family YMCA has a tremendous opportunity to substantiate our purpose and

We hope that as you review our Annual Report and read about the impact we have had on the area we serve, you will share in our enthusiasm for the many and meaningful ways that our Y has “strengthened our community.” Exciting times are ahead and we hope that you will share them with us.
