These numbers change with the type (quality) of CR123 battery being used. Batteries with higher nominal voltages (4.2V) will deliver 50 doses or more quite easily and batteries with a nominal voltage of just 3.0V will yield at least 38-40 one-litre doses.

Alkaline & NiCd are not supported. Batteries perform best when kept warm (above 4°C).
