Tank and container features No container is like the other. A vital criterion for container design are the process steps for which the tank is to be applied during the production process. Pressure in the tank, vacuum situation, heating and cooling requirements of the stored product, viscosity and solids content, the particle size for design of the agitator or mixer, and, of course, also the volume, are data we need for designing the tank. Moreover, the connection of the tanks to the peripheral pipe system equipment and the installation of monitoring and measuring devices are also very important. The cover and base construction and the integration of the required connecting pieces and manhole installations are completely tailored to your process sequence.

Production and assembly
Our production that is harmonised in detail takes place in a manufacturing hall specially designed for tank construction in the Freising plant, where automated manufacturing methods for cover and wall production are used. Step by step, the unmachined and semi-finished parts pass the individual workstations where qualified welders perform their particular machining step. The complete production in the plant comprises all processing steps including surface treatment by means of polishing or pickling, as well as ceramic blasting of external surfaces.

The high precision of manufacturing is based on the qualification of our staff on one hand, as well as on the powerful production automats on the other hand. The necessary cutting, drawing and welding work for large container parts, such as welding on calorifiers or cooling spirals, are programme-controlled. For the production of our tanks, we apply the globally standardised testing and welding procedures, thus meeting our demands for maximum tank machining quality.
