Learning Center Academics High School Diploma Our Learning Center offers independent-study-like courses for students needing credits toward an Adult High School Diploma, or for Concurrent High School students needing credits toward their homeschool High School Diploma. The courses offered are at Standard level and meet the California State Standards. Upon successful completion, the student will receive five credits per class, unless otherwise noted. Students take courses via the APEX online learning system, completing assignments at home and taking tests in our Learning Center. Each student meets with a credentialed teacher periodically in the Learning Center, by appointment. Some courses are available using the online APEX system.
