Announcement The Italian Ice Sport Federation (FISG), Ice Team Torino and Velocisti Fiamma Torino have the honour and pleasure of inviting you to the Star Class Competition in Torino which will be held on February 20th to 22nd 2015 at the Palaghiaccio Tazzoli ice rink, Via Sanremo 67 - Turin (ITA) – (rink 1) The competition will be organized in accordance with the 2014 Regulations of the International Skating Union, the Star Class Memorandum 2014/2015 and the conditions included in this announcement Entries Entries can be made by the club of the respective athlete or by the ISU Member. In case of an unmanageable number of entries reductions can be made by the organizers together with the Coordination Group. In this respect the total number of skaters in all categories per club may be limited and/or the numbers of clubs may be limited. Principles like global representation, regional representation and first come, first serve shall be applied. Preliminary Entry Entries must include - The title of the competition - The name of the Club and of the ISU Member making the entry - The number of athletes in each category - The number of coaches and teamleaders The Entry must be submitted not later than January 20th 2015 and shall be made via www.shorttrackonline.info Final entry The final entry specifying/confirming - The first name and surname of the competitor - Date of birth of each competitor - Data requested for seeding purposes (only the best time on the 500m distance, skated within the current or the preceding season will be accepted) - The International Registration Number (UPID) The final entry must be submitted not later than February 15th 2015 and shall be made via www.shorttrackonline.info All entries must be accompanied by sufficient documentation of the performances in mass start competitions and all requirements of the ISU Regulations must be fulfilled All Teamleaders are very urgently requested to inform the organizers of any changes upon departure from their hometown, at the very latest. Entry Fee An Entrance Fee of €10 must be paid to the organizers for each accredited person, e.g. for every athlete and for every coach and team leader. One coach /team leader per club does not have to pay the Entrance Fee. A deposit of €10.00 per person must also be paid to the Organisers for the use of the helmet covers for their team. Conditions of Contest The Qualifying Schedule on each distance shall be based on an "All Final System" in all categories.

The All Final System is used in order to guarantee a minimum number of races to all participants. The organizers reserve the right to change the programme due to unforeseen circumstances. Qualification Skater may be entered who have attained any one of the Qualifying Time in a Mass Start Competition. (Listed on a Members Calendar, ISU International Calendar and ISU Event). Proof must be supplied by submitting time date and venue for the Event. On Friday and Saturday the program will be divided in two parts, depending on the entries. The program is tentative and subject to change by the organizing committee and the referee. A more detailed program will be published on www.shorttrackonline.info in the week before the competition. Track The track is an artificial refrigerated indoor ice surface with the measures of 30x60 meters, protective padding will cover the boards. The standard track 111,12 meters to the lap with measured curves of 8,50 meters and there will be 7 markers used to establish the curve. The length of the straight is 28,85 m. Besides the original track there will be 4 tracks set to preserve good ice conditions. For all tracks one finish line will be used. The padding system in place is according to ISU Communication 1726. Award of Prizes Prize for the first, second and third classed in the final results for each category. Overall prizes will also be awarded at the end of the competition for each category. During award ceremonies, the skaters should be in club or National tracksuits. Medical Assistance Doctor and paramedical personnel will be present on competition days. An ambulance will be on standby on site in case of any emergencies.

Medical Insurance It is the sole responsibility of each Member, on behalf of its participating clubs, to ensure or provide medical and accident insurance for their athletes. Proof of such shall be requested by the Organizing Committee. See I.S.U. Rule 119. Liability In accordance with I.S.U. Rule 119, the Organizing Committee assumes no responsibility with respect to medical, bodily or personal injury or property loss or damage sustained or caused in connection with this competition. Parking Fee A free parking area is available next to the Pala Ghiaccio Tazzoli. Board and Lodging The participating teams are responsible for their own board and lodging..
