Catholic Ministries Appeal Christmas often brings out the best in people. We are more mindful of the needs of other people. We help others to have a good Christmas with our Giving Tree. We remember that we are called to help know they can be Raised in Christ. Through the generosity of 213 of our families we have raised $37,633. Remember if we don’t make our goal, our parish pays the difference. So in contributing to the CMA you are both helping our diocese in its ministry and helping our parish. Please pray about what you might be able to contribute. Be sure and get your contribution in before December 31 st if you want it recorded in 2016. You can find out more about the CMA on our parish website under “Financial Giving” at http://stmichaelsnewark.org/financial-giving/cma-appeal/.

Prayer Network: Our calling list for the Prayer Network now has only 2 people on it. Our e-mail list has more. If you would like to join either list of those who pray for the sick, please let Pat know. Call the Parish Center 331-6753 or e -mail [email protected]. For the phone list, we will need a working phone number, preferably with the ability to leave a message if no one is there, or our e-mail list - just your current email address. Any questions, contact Pat.

Hermana Kay
