Promote, Connect and Partner with Canada’s Co-op Housing Movement Every year, CHF Canada’s Annual General Meeting brings together housing co-op managers, members and board directors. Over 700 participants from across Canada attend the AGM to learn, network and discuss the issues facing the co-op housing sector.   About CHF Canada CHF Canada is the nationwide umbrella organization for co-op housing and Canada’s link with co-op housing around the world. We exist to unite, represent and serve the co-op housing community across Canada. We bring together more than 1,000 members and associates, including almost 900 non-profit housing co-operatives, as well as organizations that are closely linked with housing co-operatives. We are proud to support our members in providing safe, secure, affordable housing to over 250,000 Canadians. Choose from any of the items below. Top up your package, or simply choose an item. • Welcome reception $5,000 All AGM attendees are invited to the Welcome Reception to kick things off. Includes two to three minutes’ speaking time at the reception, hors d’oeuvres, and on-site signage.

• Conference lanyards $3,500 Worn by all AGM attendees, the lanyards are a huge visibility boost to your organization. Includes one colour logo design and set-up.

• National business meeting snack $2,500 (or in-kind) Sponsor a much-needed snack for 700 attendees during the national business meeting. Includes logo in AGM materials and on website.

• Ontario business meeting snack $2,000 Sponsor a refreshing snack for over 450 members during their Ontario business meeting. Includes logo in AGM materials and on website.

• Workshop leaders’ reception $1,500 A reception that recognizes the incredible workshop leaders who contribute so much to the conference. Includes logo recognition and thanks from the evening’s host.

Key Dates and Guidelines

Sponsors: Complete the attached order form by January 15, 2017 Reserve your sponsorship opportunity by completing the attached application form and email to [email protected]

Email your company logo and URL link by January 15, 2017 Email a jpeg and vector file (Adobe Illustrator eps) of your company’s logo (in both colour and black and white) and URL link to [email protected]

Participant registration All approved exhibitor/sponsor representatives planning to attend as a conference participant will need to register. You will be contacted by Gaye Bissett for registration information. If you have any questions about registration, please contact Gaye at [email protected].

Additional Information Eligibility CHF Canada will make every effort to meet sponsor requests. CHF Canada will determine the eligibility and suitability of any application to participate in the 2017 CHF Canada AGM, display booth, or advertising program in the meeting information book. If for any reason an application is denied, refunds will be made in full.

Confirmation Please remit your completed application form to Cynthia Mitchell, [email protected] to secure your sponsorship. Applications received after the deadline of January 15, 2017 may not secure their first choice. Sponsorship choices are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with some options held back for previous year’s sponsors.

Payment You will be invoiced by email prior to the AGM. Please submit payment no later than 30 days from receipt of invoice.

Display Booth Policy

a. CHF Canada must receive full payment two weeks prior to the annual general meeting. b. CHF Canada will decide whether or not you can set up a display. CHF Canada may refuse display space if we feel that a display: • Might offend people attending the conference • Is taking a partisan political position • Is contrary to CHF Canada’s principles and objectives c. CHF Canada will supply display space to our Partner level sponsors. CHF Canada may also supply free space for educational displays organized or requested by CHF Canada. d. Display spaces will be on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority placement of tables given to Partner level sponsors. e. CHF Canada will not be responsible for theft or damage to displays. f. CHF Canada will contact you before the meeting to let you know: • Where to put your display • When to set up your display • When to take down your display g. If a dispute about anything in this policy comes up during the annual meeting, CHF Canada will decide how to resolve it.
