Sponsor a Clothing Bin Big Brothers Big Sisters is America’s premier mentoring organization and has been providing services to children for over 100 years. Please support our organization by sponsoring a clothing bin at your business today! In 2009, the Big Brothers Big Sisters Donation center was established to provide funding for our mentoring programs and services. Our program makes it convenient for the community to recycle their used clothing while at the same time providing an additional source of funding for our programs and services. Our collection methods include donation bins, community drop off locations and driver pick-ups. Currently we are looking for businesses, schools, churches, and other organizations to join with our Donation Center and sponsor a donation bin. You won’t have to worry about a thing. We will collect the materials and maintain the area surrounding the bins on a weekly basis. All we ask is that our bins are placed in a high traffic, highly visible area. We hope that you consider becoming a bin sponsor. Sponsorship is socially responsible and environmentally friendly. Please remember that becoming a bin sponsor is a commitment to our community’s children, by insuring that there is funding to help improve the lives of those served by your local Big Brothers Big Sisters.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS… How often are donated items collected and who maintains Bins? Once a week, our drivers will pick up and maintain Bins. If there is a special situation, an additional pick up can be made How long from signing of Contract to Bin delivery? As soon as the contract agreement documents and permits (if needed) are completed, approximately 30 business days Is Big Brothers Big Sisters Clothes for Kids’ Sake Program Insured? Yes they are fully insured proof of insurance is available to anyone completing the Hosting Bin contract What are the dimensions of a Bin? A clothing donation Bin weights 275 lbs. It is 54” wide x 43” deep x 71” high (approximately 4.5 feet x 3.5 feet deep x 6 feet high) What is done with the items donated? We have partnered with Savers, Inc. a company with 50 years of experience with non-profit organizations. Our items are placed at their thrift stores throughout the United States with the proceeds from the sale going directly back to Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programs.

Receive $50.00 monthly as a property rental fee, applicable for schools, clubs, fire houses and other non- profit agencies or organizations, businesses will receive a recognition letter at the end of the calendar year stating their donation as $600.00 to use for tax purposes
