Many Possibilities….

Mesh Pack

The Mesh Pack is composed of different layers (filtration + support).

It can be round, or pleated to increase the filtration area.

Classical Weave Also called « square weave », it is the most simple woven wire cloth. The filtration rate is defined by the distance between two consecutive wires. Plain weave: Each shute wire is woven over and under the warp wires.

 Twill weave: Each shute wire is woven over and under two wrap wires.

Classical Weave Square weave is identified by : - Mesh count : Calculated by the number of openings per inch.

- Opening :

- Open Area :

Dutch Weave Dutch weave is obtained by interlacing of small diameter corrugated wires closely jointed woven between bigger diameter wires not corrugated and not jointed Its high density of wires gives it a higher mechanical strength

Dutch weave is identified by its mesh counts and wire diameter in each direction For example: 24 x 110 mesh; wire 0.35 x 0.25 mm

Special Dutch Weave Special Dutch weave is a Dutch weave where the opening between two consecutive chute wires is smaller than the opening of the “filtration triangle” It is a Dutch weave with high porosity and better clean ability

Following pictures show 1. Visual aspect of Normal Dutch weave and Special Dutch Weave 2. Visual aspect of Normal Dutch weave and Special Dutch weave after usage (for Special Dutch weave, the clogging appears on a surface)

Micro-perforated sheets This media is produced by photo-etching or by other methods like laser, water or electron beams. It is caracterised by small, precise and uniformly sized holes in a stable and rigid structure

Usual materials are stainless steel or nickel

Sintered Powders Depth filter media composed of calibrated metal particules, rounded shaped or shattered sharp shaped, randomly layed and sintered.

Sintered Fibers Depth filter media composed of fine metal fibers (1.5 to 40 µm), randomly layered by air webbing, sintered together and calendared to give the filtration characteristics required.
