About this document › This installation and user guide will help you to install your Soft Token Mobile for Android phones or iPhone, as well as instruct you how to use it. › It will enable you to use your Android phone (e.g. X10) or iPhone as a token for strong authentication, generating one-time-passwords to be used when authenticating yourself to RVI (or other applications requiring such authentication)

Step 0 – Prerequisites › Access to the STRong Authentication Self Service (STRAUSS) portal – The portal is only possible to access on the Intranet (ECN). – Only Ericsson employees and consultants (Ericsson Workforce) can login to STRAUSS

– STRAUSS can be found at https://strauss.internal.ericsson.com

› Requirements on you mobile device – The device must be one of the following › Android (1.6 or later). Example of such device are Sony Ericsson X10.

› iPhone (iOS 3.0 or later)

Step 1 – Order Soft Token MObile in GORDON 1 a) Order the Soft Token Mobile product in GORDON Note! At the end of the order form, select the ”I want to use Soft Token Mobile on iPhone or Android” option

STEP 3 – ACCESS STRAUSS PORTAL › Browse to the STRAUSS portal, https://strauss.internal.ericsson.com › Login by choosing your login domain (EEMEA, EAPAC or EAMCS), enter your Signum (“ebarsan”) in the User ID field and your LAN password in the Password field.

On your mobile device: – –



Start the MobilePASS App Tap [Activate Now] › The activation code is displayed

Enter the activation code in the web portal (See next 3 slides)

STEP 3 -ACTIVATION › Under the heading “Activate Your Product”, locate the Soft Token Mobile and click the “Activate…” button next to it

STEP 3 -ACTIVATION › A box will unfold with input fields for Activation code – SoftPin is NOT used for the SOFT TOKEN MOBILE for iPhone and Android. Instead a pin code is set in the MobilePASS app on your device

STEP 3 -ACTIVATION › The Activation code is generated in the MobilePASS app on your device (See previous slide no. 6) – Enter the Activation code into the Activation code input fields in STRAUSS and click the “Submit” button

STEP 3 – VERIFY TOKEN › In the STRAUSS portal select your token in the ”SELECT TOKEN...” dropdown list. – Enter the one-time-password generated in the next step and click the Verify button

Step 3 – Set Pin › On your mobile device – Tap [Confirm Activation] – The MobilePASS App requires you to set a 4 digit pin › Enter a 4 digit pin then tap [OK] › Re-enter the 4 digit pin and tap [OK] – MobilePASS now shows a generated one-time-password › Use this password to verify your token, see previous slide

STEP 3 – ACTIVATION COMPLETED › The Activation / Enrollment process is now completed

› You can now use your MobilePASS token with any application/service that utilizes the Strong Authentication service

STEP 4 - Using Soft Token Mobile › You have now enable Soft Token Mobile for iPhone and Android. – The mobile application MobilePASS is now available for use on your device and once opened it will prompt for a pin code and then display a 6-digit passcode that forms the one-time-password.

› There are several services, like RVI etc., that utilize the Strong Authentication service, for which the Soft Token Mobile among other products is used. – Please refer to the user guide for the service of your interest for instructions on how to use your Soft Token Mobile to access the service.

STEp 4 – Login to RVI › Go to rvi.ericsson.net or directly to any RVI gateway › Login with AD credentials as primary authentication and select HARDTOKEN/SOFTTOKEN as secondary authentication › You will now be prompt to enter a one-time-password › Generate a one-time-password with your token on your Android/iPhone device. › Enter the one-time-password in the field on the RVI page and login. Note! You shall ONLY enter the 6-digit one time password. Soft PIN is NOT used

Reinstall/Renew › There are several things that might happen that will require you to reinstall the soft token › You forget about the 4-digit pin code needed to generate the one time password › You loose the MobilePass app › You replace your device with a new one

› To be able to activate a new soft token you need to order a change in Gordon. Follow step 1 - 4 in this document.
