Product of Obsession We confess: We’re obsessed with the lowly starter. Every application, every nuance. It makes it hard to sleep. And from the depths of that obsession, emerges the world’s best conceived starter. First, we integrated a seamless solution. We call it the Smartart Control Module. It incorporates operator control, superior motor protection, and automation system compatibility in a rugged, compact unit. TM
Accepting up to 600VAC directly and up to 40A load, gone are the days of discrete thermal overloads and worrying about contactor coil voltages. The days of distributors carrying thousands of dollars of the wrong stock are over. So are call-backs and mis-sizing issues. With patent-pending Smartart, our starter looks for a safe operating range based on motor starting current; if the starter isn’t calibrated within range, it alarms and trips notifying it needs to be properly calibrated. So if some fool forgets to set it, you’re still covered. And if some ham-fisted operator tries to overcome motor jams or problems by jacking the overload, you’re protected. TM

Smart - Start safely even without calibration! Smartart patent pending technology predicts a safe operating range for your motor when the starter has not been calibrated. TM
Smartart detects if your starter Intelligent - needs to be calibrated, protecting you from operators trying to overcome motor jams or problems by oversetting the overload. With Smartstart enabled, if the starter isn’t in range, it alarms and trips notifying you before damage occurs
Motor Inrush Locked Rotor Trip 6-10x FLA Stall Trip

Smartart detects harmful Active - extended starting conditions with maximum time to start. Monitors motor inrush current conditions and trips if the motor doesn’t start within 10 seconds (class 10 overload; regardless of FLA setting).
