Simple filtering – Membrane filtration with rigid body elements

low emissions with high air permeability

utilize the synergies – The GORE® membrane ensures low pressure lost while offering excellent separation.

GORE® SINBRAN® filter is a combination of sintered, porous polyethylene and a laminated GORE® membrane. These combine the strengths of membrane filtration with those of rigid body filtration. The principle of surface filtration and the evenness of the GORE® ePTFE membrane ensure a low loss of pressure while at the same time guaranteeing high separation performance and very low emission values. During filtration, the dust is completely separated at the membrane surface and does not penetrate into the sintered body, so it does not clog up the body of the filter. Cleaning is performed by a powerful pulse of compressed air.

the applications – High reliability and stability in the widest range of applications.

Worldwide, over a million kilometers of GORE® SINBRAN® filters are in use. A service life of more than six years is not unusual.

Fields of application:

Convincing arguments in difficult applications

• Shop and cabin extraction systems in welding

When separating non-agglomerating dusts, GORE® SINBRAN® filters guarantee the highest separation rates. Their cleaning capability is even retained below the dew point.

special individual versions –

Filter elements tailored to your requirements. Certain types of application frequently require special installations. For such cases, Gore offers individual solutions tailored to the customer‘s requirements. Development of customized filter elements

Flexible flange versions and sizes

If non-standard geometric dimensions are necessary in a pneumatic conveyor system or a central dust extraction system, for example, Gore will develop a specially adapted or modified GORE® SINBRAN® filter element.

The design of the filter flange guarantees com patibility with existing filter systems. The filter elements are available in almost every flange version from 4 – 18 tubes in series and in any length between 490 mm and 1500 mm. In particularly difficult cases, single cartridges (100 – 1000 mm) with different screw flanges can be used.

For example, single cartridges can be used in series in a filtering system and thus ideally positioned under existing blow tubes.

Particular geometric requirements are implemented in the in-house design and production department.

maximum performance in the tightest space

strong performance and high quality – The advantages of the rigid-body design at a glance.

In comparison with filter hoses, the stable GORE® SINBRAN® rigid body design accommodates a large filter area in the smallest space. In addition, the rigid body gives the filter element great strength. GORE® SINBRAN® is BGIA tested and is suitable for use in dust-removing machines and devices of dust class “M”. The application of dust class “M” produces a degree of permeability of D < 0.1 %, which is more or less comparable to a degree of separation of A > 99.9 % (H12). For explosive dust, GORE® SINBRAN® is also offered in an anti-static version conforming to ATEX (R
