Loren has been guest carver at Silver Dollar City for the past 15 years. In addition, he has worked the SDC Craft Festival, now known as the Harvest Festival, with John Engler for 12 years, and has demonstrated his carving skills at the Peter Engler Designs shop in the Grand Village, at Branson, MO and at Wood N Ya Wanit, a local art shop at the Lake of the Ozarks.. Loren has been fortunate in that he has either judged or helped to judge several carving shows in the Midwest. Loren lives at the Lake of the Ozarks with his wife Carole. He has appeared on local television demonstrating wood carving and has appeared on the local Faribault, MN television several times, while teaching carving classes at Faribault. Loren is a twenty-two year member of the Lake of the Ozarks Woodcarving Club and has held every office that the club has. He is the longtime seminar director for the club and is responsible for between eight and ten seminars per year for the club. In addition, John Engler and Loren Woodard put on the Ozarks Woodcarving Seminar in Springfield. The seminar generally draws over 200 carvers with about 20 instructors. Thank you for showing an interest in Loren's art.
