TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE TALENT HUNT/REALITY SHOW - TICKET TO BOLLYWOOD (“Contest/Show”) 1. The terms and conditions contained herein (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") apply to your participation in a talent hunt/reality Show called Ticket to Bollywood (“Contest/Show”) conducted by New Delhi Television Limited ("NDTV"). 2. Your participation in the Contest will be construed as an acceptance of the Terms. If you do not agree to any of the Terms you should not participate in the Contest. 3. The Contest/Show timelines are as follows i. Call For Entries: 15th February 2014 ii. Auditions: 2nd March- 2nd April 2014 iii. Eliminations: 6th April – 6th May 2014 iv. 5. The Contest is open to Indian Citizens residing within the geographical territory of India only. 6. Employees of NDTV & its subsidiaries/group companies and their families are not eligible to participate in the Contest. 7. Minors are not allowed to participate in this Contest. 1. Rules for participation in Auditions There are two option of registering for the auditions. a) Audition Venues: The applicants need to come to the Audition Location on the given dates and fill in the forms available at the Registration Desk. b) Online Registration: Those contestants that live in different cities can fill in the sign up form available on the Show website, www.ndtv.com/tickettobollywood

Applicants must fill in all the required details and also upload a 30 second video showcasing the reason/talent why they should be selected. The entries will be screened in NDTV and the only selected candidates will be given scheduled call backs for the in-camera auditions at the audition venue of their choice, which will go on for 4 days in the following 4 cities as per the schedule. 2. Guidelines for participation in Auditions i.

The selected applicant is required to bring a minimum of three costume changes.

ii.

The costumes must be of a single/block color like green, yellow, red, blue, etc. The applicants must not wear clothes in black or white colors or clothes with stripes or checks.

iii.

The applicant must carry valid id proof and two photocopies of the same. The id must correspond to the ID used for online sign up (if applicable).

iv.

The applicant must carry 2 passport size photographs.

v.

The applicants are required to carry basic make up if required.

vi.

No food will be provided at the auditions

3. Selection and Elimination Process i.

Applicants must come to the Auditions as announced on NDTV for each city.

ii.

Applicants must be between 18 to 27 years of age as on 1st February, 2014.

iii.

All contestants would be expected to comply with guidelines for the auditions as listed in Clause 3 above.

iv.

At each center, the number of applicants will be judged over several rounds of elimination. Just Auditioning does not guarantee selection for the following round.

v.

Selected Finalists from each of the 4 cities must travel to Mumbai for the Second Phase of the Show

vi.

NDTV will arrange for the finalists from each city to travel to Mumbai by train. In case a train is not available on the given dates NDTV will arrange for travel by Bus [AC Volvo].

vii.

Once in Mumbai NDTV will arrange for their Accommodation, Food & local transport to and from the shoot location.

viii.

Contestants will be required to stay in the Mumbai Accommodation up to the end of the shoot schedule or till the time they are sent back by NDTV. The winners may be required to stay in Mumbai for an additional week for Publicity & Promotion purposes.

4. Rules for the final 32 contestants selected after clearing the audition round i.

The final selected applicants agree to abide by all guidelines set down for the Show and they shall make themselves available to NDTV for the duration of the Show.

Each of the selected applicants will be required to sign a formal agreement with NDTV without which they shall not be allowed to participate further.

iii.

Under no circumstances will a participant/Team be allowed to drop out from the Contest/Show after reaching the finals. The dates for all the recordings will be conveyed to the participants well in advance.

v.

The applicants will be required to be available for a minimum of 10 days to NDTV each year for a period of five years from the date of signing of the formal agreement, for the purposes of publicity and promotion in NDTV programming, events, advertisements etc. General

5. Nothing here in amounts to a commitment or representation by NDTV to conduct further or other such Show/Contest. 6. All the rights including but not limited to the intellectual property rights, copyrights and all other allied, ancillary and subsidiary rights in any and all media in and to the photographs, tapes, movies and recordings of everything the applicant say and do during the pre-auditions and auditions of the Contest, Post Contest Shoot, Promotional Activity and/or otherwise related to the Contest shall vest with NDTV absolutely for perpetuity, throughout the world. 7. Comments of the applicants or materials/photographs/images sent to NDTV including feedback and other communications of any kind shall be deemed to be non-confidential. NDTV is free to reproduce, distribute and publicly display such feedback and voting entries without limitations or obligation of any kind. NDTV is

also free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in such feedback for any purpose. NDTV reserves the right to analyze and summarize data that we collect and also reserves the right to publish, distribute, share summaries of the data collected with sponsors or other business partners without limitations or obligations of any kind. 8. Although NDTV attempts to ensure that all information contained on the Show web site is error-free, we accept no liability for omissions, and reserve the right to change or alter the content of the site at any time. 9. The schedule of events and qualification rounds are subject to change at the discretion of NDTV. In case any event is rescheduled, NDTV will make a reasonable attempt to give as much advance notice as possible, without being liable for this reason. 10. NDTV shall not be responsible for non-completion / non-occurrence of any stage of the Contest as planned. 11. It is the sole responsibility of the applicants to ensure that they are entitled to participate in this Show/Contest as per the applicable law. 12. We are fully committed to following laws related to the collection of data and to our carefully considered policy on data collection. You are required to give us the correct details about yourself and NDTV will not be liable for any damages direct or indirect for any wrong addresses submitted. 13. The decision of NDTV and / or its representatives, employees, directors, officers or agents with respect to the voting, any matter related thereto including the choice of questions or the manner of choosing of winners will be final and binding on all participants and no questions, correspondence, enquiries, etc. on the manner of conduct of the Contest from any party whatsoever will be entertained. 14. NDTV reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Contest/Show without giving any reason and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation or postponement. 15. To the extent permitted by law, NDTV or its representatives, employees, directors, officers or agents, shall not be liable for any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent on the part of NDTV or its representatives, employees, directors, officers or agents. 16. The applicants agree that they shall hold NDTV, its affiliates, its group companies, their employees, officers, directors or any other person harmless from and against any injury/damage/harm/loss etc. suffered by them, in any manner whatsoever in

connection with participating in the Show/Contest and waives all rights to file in person/ through any family member and/or third Participant any applications, criminal and/or civil proceedings in any courts or forum in India to claim any damages or relief. 17. The interpretation and implementation of the Terms and Conditions shall be at the sole discretion of NDTV. The decisions of NDTV shall be final and binding, and not subject to challenge or appeal. 18. The participants agree and undertake to indemnify NDTV against any loss, damage, liability, etc. suffered by it on account of non-fulfilment or breach of any of the these terms by the participant. 19. In no event shall NDTV’s liability for any claim made by any participant for any reason exceed Rs. 5000/-. 20. These terms and conditions shall be governed by & construed in accordance with the applicable laws in India.
