General Rules & Regulations 1. The 2016 Fair theme is “Let’s All Go To The Fair”. 2. All exhibits, except poultry & livestock, may be entered Saturday, September 10th from 1:00 - 6:00pm and Sunday, September 11th from 1:00 - 5:00pm. 3. Every reasonable effort will be made by the officers of the Sanford Lions Club and those in charge of the grounds to protect property or exhibits. The Lions Club is not responsible should loss or damage occur. 4. Duplicate exhibit tickets are issued for each article entered and serve as the claim check for pick-up. If lost, it will be necessary to prove ownership before item will be released. 5. Agricultural Exhibit Hall Entries: Blue Ribbon Winners will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $250 Cash Prize. One prize of $250 will be awarded to one youth blue ribbon winner and one prize of $250 will be awarded to one adult blue ribbon winner. 6. No article or exhibit can be removed temporarily or permanently until 3:00-7:00pm Monday, September 19th. 7. Educational Booth are to be dismantled on Tuesday, September 20th from 5:007:00pm and on Wednesday September 21st from 2:00-5:00pm. 8. The Sanford Lions Club will not be responsible for any exhibits not removed from the premises by 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 21st. Items not removed will be considered abandoned and may be disposed of as the Fair Chairman sees fit.

General Rules & Regulations 9. Exhibitors may enter only one item per premium number. The same article or animal cannot compete for the premiums of two or more premium numbers of the section in which it is exhibited and shall not be awarded more than one premium under the same number unless stated in the catalog. 10. Judging will take place on Monday, September 13th by competent judges. All judges’ decisions are final. No exhibitors or visitors will be allowed in the exhibit hall while exhibits are being judged. 11. Only products produced by the exhibitors will be eligible to compete for premiums. 12. The Sanford Lions Club reserves the right to reject any exhibits, which are deemed objectionable or unsuitable for exhibition. 13. Livestock & Poultry will be accepted from 8:00am – 8:00pm on Monday, September 12th. 14. All livestock must remain on exhibit through Sunday night and may be removed beginning at 7:00pm. 15. Sick animals will be removed immediately from the barn. 16. The Sanford Lions Club reserves the final and absolute right to interpret these rules and regulations and to settle and determine all matters, questions and differences in regard thereto or otherwise arising out of them. 17. Sanford Lions Club and North Carolina Cooperative Extension reserve the right to take pictures of the winners and release these to local media.
