SHIP (Seniors Housing Information) This is a free service that provides information on housing options as well as information and referrals to community resources.

Tenants eligible for BC Housing subsidized housing pay 30 percent of gross household income for rent. Low-income seniors must pay minimum amount. Contact nearest housing office to apply.
OAS (Old Age Security) A federal pension for eligible Canadian Citizens or permanents residents age 65+ who have lived in Canada after age 18. Seniors should apply six months prior to their 65th birthday. 1-800-227-9914
