PL POLAND This case study presents the situation in Poland as regards the representation of men and women on the electoral lists in the elections for the European Parliament 2014. The first two tables indicate the legal situation regarding the representation of men and women on the lists and the names of all parties and independent candidates which will partake in these elections. The subsequent tables are sorted by those political parties which were already represented in the European Parliament between 2009 and 2014 and will firstly indicate whether and how a party quota applies and then present the first half of the candidates on the lists for the 2014 elections.
