Fine Spray Nozzles Table of Contents

Our fine spray hydraulic atomizing nozzles are available in two styles.

Standard Spray

Standard Nozzles: Traditional threaded nozzles made of metal.

Hydraulic Atomizing Spray Nozzles. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . E3

Quick-Connect Nozzles: Consisting of a nozzle body and spray tip, quick-connect nozzles can reduce maintenance time and lower costs. The spray tips can be removed for cleaning and/or replacement while the nozzle bodies remain on the pipe or spray header.

Optimization Tips • Reduce operating costs and maintenance downtime by using quick-connect nozzles. Nozzle bodies remain on the header – only spray tips are replaced. • Use strainers to reduce nozzle clogging and ensure optimum performance.

UniJet® Nozzles with Replaceable Tips

• Use adjustable ball connections for quick, precise nozzle orientation. • Evaluate your specific spraying application and implement a regular nozzle maintenance plan. Maintenance essentials include: – Visual inspection of spray pattern. Orifice wear in hollow cone nozzles will destroy the spray pattern uniformity. Streaks will develop and the pattern will become heavy or light in sections of the spray. Orifice wear in full cone nozzles also causes spray pattern deterioration as more liquid flows to the center of the pattern. – Monitor flow rate and pressure to detect changes resulting from orifice wear. Orifice wear in nozzles will destroy the spray pattern uniformity, and deterioration, this can also result in larger drop sizes. Larger drops can reduce fogging and misting effectiveness and result in less total liquid surface area.

Fine Spray Nozzles

Hydraulic Fogging Spray Nozzles, Wide Angle Spray Features and Benefits • Finely atomized sprays in a hollow cone misting-type spray pattern using liquid pressure alone – compressed air not required.

• SF-CE and SM-CE spray nozzles made of Celcon® feature: – Minimal buildup.

• Uniform distribution over a wide range of flow rates and pressures.

– Increased chemical resistance for longer wear life.

• Very small drops often achieving misting performance – ideal for applications where wetting is needed without excess moisture.

– Lower maintenance. – Removable stainless steel 200 mesh screen.

• 22624-80° SF Fogger spray tips for UniJet® nozzle bodies are available with a brass tip body and core, stainless steel core tip; SF spray tips are all brass.

– Up to 110° spray angle at 40 psi (2.8 bar) – maximum pressure of 200 psi (14 bar) at maximum temperature of 200°F (93°C).
