1.04 ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS A.

This specification is meant to serve as instructions and guidelines for the hardware supplier who is responsible for making sure that all hardware is included and coordinated for each opening indicated, and then prepare a proper and detailed hardware schedule. 1. Contractor shall hire Hardware Supplier which employs an Architectural Hardware Consultant (AHC) to assist in the work of this section.

Coordinate the manufacture, fabrication, and installation of products onto which door hardware will be installed.

C.

Furnish templates for door and frame preparation to manufacturers and fabricators of products requiring internal reinforcement for door hardware.

Convey Owner's keying requirements to manufacturers.

1.05 SUBMITTALS A.

Product Data: Manufacturer's catalog literature for each type of hardware, marked to clearly show products to be furnished for this project.

Hardware Schedule: Detailed listing of each item of hardware to be installed on each door. Use door numbering scheme as included in the Contract Documents. Identify electrically operated items and include power requirements.
