Cruising West Coast Vancouver Island-‐ Instructor Brian Pemberton Brian Pemberton, Owner of NW Explorations Yacht Charters, Service and Brokerage, has cruised up the West Coast of Vancouver Island with his Mother Goose Flotilla since 2008. From the sea otters and whales to the remote isolation found in this area, Brian will talk about why this is often one of the first legs of his flotilla to sell out. Come hear about the hot springs and the friendly communities that make the west coast of Vancouver Island feel like you are worlds away from your busy lives back home!
Meet Instructor Brian Pemberton (NW Exploration) For as long as I can remember, my family and I have cruised the San Juan and Canadian Gulf Islands. We’re familiar with many special harbors, small communities, great gourmet restaurants, secluded anchorages, unique shopping opportunities and whale watching spots. Here at NWE, we work with clients prior to their trip to determine their objectives; we’re available to assist in planning itineraries, provisioning lists, etc. as well as help to arrange for activities such as kayaking, fishing, crabbing, hiking, and sightseeing. Safety is always our primary concern followed by our consistent passion to provide you with the best possible experience cruising.
Meet Instructor Kyle Holloway (S3 Maritime) Kyle began his broad reaching career in the marine industry working for a custom boat builder in Salt Lake City while attending college at the University of Utah. Since relocating to Seattle 15 years ago he has gained valuable experience working for some of the top companies in the area first as an installer, installing a wide variety of yacht systems, and secondly as a salesman, selling systems and service on both the wholesale and retail level. Kyle’s vast product knowledge and technical expertise make him a valuable addition to the S3 Maritime team.
Meet InstructorFitoEspinoza (Hotel Coral& Marina, Ensenada Mexico) A native of Tijuana Fito Espinoza has 20 years experience as Dockmaster in Ensenada's Marina Coral a favorite destination for boaters making their 1st stop in Mexico. Making sure everybody has the correct paperwork to clear in to the country is a obligation he takes very seriously, so make sure you call him ahead if you have any doubts. Lately Mr. Espinoza has been collaborating with the Mexico Tourism Board in promoting Mexico's Nautical destinations, so be sure to stop and say hello @ one of the many Boat Shows he attends on the west Coast.
