These Eurail passes are valid on all domestic trains operated by the national railways of Montenegro.

BY PUBLIC BUS If you are making your own way to/from the festival, buses are the best way to travel from city to city. To find a bus connection to Budva do check the offical page of Podgorica main bus station http://www.busterminal.me/home Advance booking is not available with all bus companies. If you are staying at festival camp, we suggest you take a bus in the direction of Kotor and Tivat. Once you have passed the the bus stop in Budva, ask the driver to make a stop at Jaz beach. Another option is to take a bus directly to Budva and then at the Tre Canne take the festival bus to Jaz. There will be a regular line of Shuttle busses circulating from the festival venue to the city. You can book tickets for festival shuttle buses here. Luggage - you will be expected to pay around €1-3 to put your luggage on the bus. You will be given a receipt when you pay, make sure you hold onto it! Not all bus companies charge for luggage.

BY CAR DRIVING

The address of the festival is Jaz beach, Budva, Montenegro You should hold a valid driving licence, a certificate of the vehicle condition and a so-called green card. An international driving permit is not necessary, but if a tourist wants to rent a car, it is good to have it. Most of the car rentals require it. The route to Budva is a scenic one, with stunning views on the long curving roads that end with spectacular views of the coastline. Two-lane motorways connect Budva to the interiors of Montenegro. Podgorica, located about 60 km away, is the chief road junction into Montenegro. It is connected to Budva by two routes. One route is through the new Sozina tunnel and the other through Cetinje. The other Montenegrin coastal towns are connected to Budva through the Adriatic Motorway, which runs from Ulcinj in the south to Herceg-Novi, and goes on to Croatia. From across Serbia through Podgorica - border exceeds Dobrakovo, Kula, Vučje, Čemerno, Dračenovac, Ranče From Bosnia and Herzegovina through Nikšić and Podgorica - border exceeds Ilino brdo, Šćepan polje; through Herceg Novi and Tivat - border crossing Sitnica

Routes from Croatia across the Herceg Novi and Tivat - border crossing Debeli Brijeg From Albania over Podgorica - border crossing Božaj; over Ulcinj and Bar border crossing Sukobin-Murićani Things to remember if driving: - It is Montenegrin law that all passengers must wear seatbelts - Speed limits in Montenegro are: Town and city: 50 km/h, Open Roads: 80 km/h - Minor roads are usually unlit at night - Hand held mobile phones are not allowed. Use a hands free. - The legal blood alcohol level limit for driving has been lowered from 0.5 g/Kg. to 0.3 g/Kg. - Each vehicle must possess a reflective fluorescent vest to be used in the event of an emergency road stop. - Most petrol stations are open between 08:00 - 20:00. - Finding a free parking spot is generally easy. In the city centres you will find parking zones with where the charge is clearly displayed. Help on the road may be reached by dialing: 19807. Traffic information can be provided by AMSCG (Automobile Association of Montenegro) on these numbers: +382 20 234 999, +382 63 239 987

Any incidents must be reported to the Montenegrin police (122) or else the insurance is treated as void. Here you can find a list of companies for car rental.

PARKING

There is a free car park near the festival. There is no security at the car park so we suggest that you leave nothing of value at all in your car. There are lockers located within the festival site where you can keep your valuables. With the huge number of vehicles crowding the city during holiday season, finding a parking spot near the town centre is next to impossible. You may sometimes have to wait for an hour to park your car. Parking costs between €2 and €5 an hour.

TRA VE L A T T H E FE S T I V AL BUSES

The festival Bus Stop is located near the main festival entrance gate. (where the Airport Transfer buses will drop you off/pick you up). There will be a regular line of Shuttle busses circulating from the festival venue to the city.

SHUTTLE BUSES

Festival shuttles are the best way to get around, to and from your accommodation and between the main resort and festival site. The shuttle pass includes unlimited travel between Budva city and Jaz beach. You can choose between:

4 day passes - 15 euro ( valid from 10am 15th July to 10 am 19th July) 7 day pass - 25 euro (valid from 10am 13th July to 10 am 20th July) You can book tickets for festival shuttle buses: www.exittrip.org/en/page/23/sea-dancefestival-shuttle-bus or buy it on camp info desk. Busses from Tre Canne to Jaz, will operate several times each hour between 10 am and 6 pm. From 6 pm to 10 pm, they will leave on every 15 minutes. Busses from Jaz will operate on every 25 minutes from 2am to 5am.

TAXIS

The Festival’s official partner - Terrae Taxi is located at the festival entrance by the Main Gate. They will provide you the best possible rate for where ever you want to go. A ride to any place within Budva costs about € 3.00. Ride from Jaz to Budva with Terrae Taxi is €7.00. All legal taxis have meters, and must use them by law. Meters start as soon as you get in the car. You should always ask for a receipt, it is a legal requirement. If you do not ask for one, or the taxi driver does not give you one you could both be liable for a fine from the inspectors. Watch out for illegal taxis – they can charge you more than you expect, and they are not regulated by the city, so you could put yourself in unnecessary danger by using them. Please use the official and recommended ways of transportation at all times.

WRISTBANDS

Your wristbands are incredibly important - you must look after them. As stipulated in our terms and conditions at the time of purchase, lost or damaged wristbands are not automatically replaced. In the extreme situation that you are granted a replacement wristband, you will be required to pay a fee.

CASHLESS Like last year, most purchases at the festival rely on a cashless system that uses pre-paid cards. The main advantage of going cashless is that festival visitors don’t have to fiddle with tokens or cumbersome cash and change, nor do they have to plan out and decide in advance what they’ll be drinking and how much it’ll cost them that evening; they can simply load up their prepaid card with as much money they want and get spending, carefree. The card is free to use, but you have to pay the activation fee on your first deposit. Activation fee is 1 EUR. So if you deposit 100EUR the card will be automatically charged 1EUR and you’ll be left with 99EUR. Once you return the card, you’ll get the activation fee refund. The activation fee is only charged once - on your first top-up. The minimum deposit is 5 EUR, and the max is 200 EUR. Each deposit amount is rounded up to the nearest 1EUR. For example, it’s not possible to deposit 4,5 EUR. IMPORTANT! The receipt of the FIRST deposit on the card is required to get the leftover funds from the card back. Cashless, systems are used at both EXIT and Sea Dance, but since the festivals are held in two different countries, which use two different currencies, local laws DO NOT ALLOW the use of the EXIT payment cards at Sea Dance festival, and vice versa. You can use the festival payment card to buy juices, beer, wine, water, some food and souvenirs.

FOOD & DRINK

Sea Dance festival works closely with Montenegrin vendors to bring you the biggest selection of festival food and drink possible. This year there will be loads of local food, smoothies, salads etc.. We’ll also have a wide range of fresh fruit and veg to keep your vitamins topped up! The festival bars will be serving a large variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Please drink responsibly, and remember to keep hydrated throughout the day and night. Food stalls are located near Crossroad and beach.

PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

All festival fans with disability are welcome at Sea Dance! However, there are certain areas of the festival site that may prove too difficult to navigate for certain disabilities. We are based on a quite challenging and at some point rough terrain so we urge you to consider this when booking. There are a number of facilities in the Campsite to accommodate our disabled customer’s needs and we have stewards on duty around the clock who are there to help. We will endeavour to assist you with access to ensure that your visit to Sea Dance festival is as comfortable and, most of all, enjoyable as possible. BEACH

It is extremely important that you take care whilst on the beach or swimming in the sea. You must only swim within the designated areas. Please do not go swimming if you are drunk - doing so can easily put you in a life threatening situation. You should also be aware of indigenous sea creatures such as sea urchins as they are hard to spot and can cause a lot of pain and unwanted time at the hospital! Please refer to this information or to a Lifeguard on duty to help keep you safe, if there is anything that you are unsure of.
