Comments The staff at Lemons Mill Elementary are trained in how to provide differentiated instruction for all students. Administrators, teachers, and staff members collaborate together on how to provide instruction for those students needing intervention as well as those needing enrichment opportunities. Once teachers are aware of the gap students in their classroom then it is their responsibility to monitor and track how the students in the gap group are progressing compared to those not identified in a gap group. Administration, teachers, and staff members are always looking for ways to educate the parents and families of the students at Lemons Mill Elementary. The Family Resources Coordinator and PTA work alongside of the the staff members to provide parents the additional support they may need. The school plans the following each year: Family Literacy Night, Math/Science Night, Parent Conferencing, and other special programming as needed. The principal and guidance counselor work together to create a list of students who fall into the GAP group. Teachers are then made aware of the students in their homeroom, so they can track progress throughout the year.
