1.0 Introduction

On behalf of UKAS and the certification bodies, Lantra Awards hosts a Schedule of Suppliers. This Schedule provides details of all companies that are approved for one or more National Highway Sector Scheme – meaning they are fully trained and competent to work in their area of traffic management. If your company is approved for one or more National Highway Sector Scheme by a relevant Certification Body (see www.ukas.com for more information), you can register your company for free. This guide will take you through the registration process.

To add yourself as a supplier click on the ‘register’ link in the picture as shown. This will take you through to the registration screen:

Complete the registration details. Your email address will be your username for future logging in. Once all details are completed, select:

Please note This will now direct you to your profile area. Under the ‘In this Section’ menu on the left hand side of the screen please select the item ‘schedule of suppliers’:

Click on add new supplier. This will direct you to:

At the bottom of the page, you will need to upload a copy of your certificates. If you are registered to NHSS Scheme 8 you will also need to upload your HERS certificate. Click on the New attachment icon to upload your certificate(s).

If you don’t have all the information to hand, you can Save as Draft, and return later. If you are finished, then Save and Submit to Approval:

Your application will now be processed by Lantra Awards and, providing the correct certificates have been provided, we will approve your application and you will appear on the website. This is normally done daily.

Please note: By registering on the website, you are confirming that you are approved for one or more Sector Scheme(s) and you will be responsible for ensuring information is correct. Lantra will not accept liability for inaccurate information. It is the responsibility of individual companies to enter their own details and maintain this information on a year to year basis.

3.0 Frequently Asked Questions 3.1 How do I register my company? From http://www.scheduleofsuppliers.co.uk select Register from the Get on the Schedule of Suppliers link in the picture as shown on page 5 of this guide.

3.2 What information do I need to fill in? You will need to provide the following information to register: Your name and a contact email address Company Address You will also need to tick the box Add your business to the Schedule of Suppliers Enter the Captcha security code Click Register. Once you have clicked register you will be taken to a page called ‘My Profile’

Select Schedule of Suppliers from the list on the left hand side of the page.

You can then insert the following information:

Business Name, Summary and Description How many employees you have Your business contact details and a contact name within your company You will need to tick the NHSS Sector Scheme(s) that your company is registered to and which certification body registers you You can also tick which areas in the country you cover (there is a map to help you) The final thing that you need to do is to upload a PDF of your current ISO certificates for the Sector Schemes you are registered for.

Now select Save and Submit for approval. This will then be sent to us and, as long as you have filled in your company details and provided the ISO certificates, we will publish your company’s details on the Schedule of Suppliers.

3.3 How do I change my company information? You need to login using your user name and password. You would have been sent this when you first registered. If you can’t remember it email us [email protected] or call on 02476 696996.

Editing your entry once registered on the Schedule of Suppliers. visit http://www.scheduleofsuppliers.co.uk home page

Click on the ‘Sign in link in the picture as shown and you will prompted to enter your log in and password details. This will take you to the My Profile area. Under the ‘In this Section’ menu on the left hand side of the screen please select the item My Details, make your amendments and click Submit at the foot of the page. Please note that it may appear as if nothing has happened but your amendment request will have been sent.

To upload new certificate(s) Under the ‘In this Section’ menu on the left hand side of the screen please select the item ‘Schedule of Suppliers’. Select edit and scroll down the page to Business Documents. Click on new attachment and upload your new certificate(s). Click on Save and Submit for Approval.

3.4 How much will it cost me to register on the Schedule of Suppliers? Nothing – registering your company on the website is free of charge.

3.5 How do I search for a company? Do you know the company name? Yes From the schedule of suppliers website http://www.scheduleofsuppliers.co.uk

insert the company name in the top left hand box marked keyword and click Search this will provide you with a list of all the companies with that name that have registered. No do you know the Sector Scheme that the company is registered to? tick the box next to the scheme required from the list click on Search This will provide you with a list of all companies registered to that specific scheme.

3.6 How do I find a list of companies for a specific sector scheme Select the tick boxes next to the relevant sector scheme(s) on the Schedule of Suppliers website http://www.scheduleofsuppliers.co.uk and click on the box marked Search. This will then provide you a list of companies that are registered for that scheme. You can also search on multiple schemes if you need a company that covers more than 1 area.

3.7 How do I find all the companies registered to a certification body? Select More Options at the bottom of the grey box on the Schedule of Suppliers website page. Select the tick box by the certification body that you require and click Search. This will provide a list of all the companies accredited by a specific Certification body. You can refine your search by selecting the sector scheme that you require and/or areas within the country that you require.

3.8 Why are companies not listed alphabetically? To ensure that each company has an equal chance of their details being viewed the search has been made random. It was felt that this would give an unfair advantage to those companies beginning with A.

3.10 How does my company get registered to a sector scheme? Your company should engage a certification body that is accredited to assess against the requirements of a specific sector scheme document.

3.12 What are Sector Schemes? National Highway Sector Schemes are bespoke integrated management schemes within an ISO 9001: (current) framework. They have been developed in partnership with all sides of the highways industry to interpret the international quality management standard as it applies to a particular activity or industry within the United Kingdom. Each Sector scheme is managed by a technical advisory committee. The committees interpret the BS EN ISO 9001: (current ) in relation to the requirements of their particular activity and reach a consensus on the minimum levels of workmanship, services, products, testing and the training and competency of operatives needed to meet specification requirements.
