FEES $55.00 for each category for each day CKC Listing Fee: $9.60 (includes HST) Note: A listing fee as established by The Canadian Kennel Club must accompany the entry of a dog for which a Canadian Kennel Club individual registration number Event Registration Number (ERN), Performance Event Number (PEN) or Miscellaneous Certification Number (MCN) is not shown on the entry form.

ENTRIES To be eligible to be entered at an approved field dog test, the dog must be at least 6 months of age. Entries will be limited to the number of dogs able to run during daylight hours and may be limited for all categories. Entrants are responsible for confirming receipt of their entries. Bitches in season are not permitted on the grounds. No refunds will be provided for bitches which come into season after entries close. If you have twice qualified your dog with any of our Judges, please notify the Test Secretary before the drawing time. Entry forms and payment to be submitted using one of the following methods: A. Mail to the Test Secretary: Sylvia Dorosh, 10150 First Line, Moffat ON L0P 1J0. Cheques payable to the Vizsla Society of Ontario or VSO Inc. OR B. Electronically using the VSO’s online entry form / https://form.jotform.com/62394798604267 Entries & electronic payments (via PayPal) accepted up to 8 PM September 27th. OR C. Entry Line services at www.entryline.com or 1-800-293-2935. Note: their entries close at 5 PM September 27th. Online entries close 30 minutes prior to Entry Line closing to allow for processing. NON-PAYMENT OR DISHONOURED PAYMENT Payment must be made in full and accompany the entry form. The VSO reserves the right to refuse entries from persons who have failed to pay entry fees in full at prior tests. Fees for entries withdrawn after the closing time will not be refunded. Tendering of a dishonored cheque or declined credit card in payment of entry fees shall be considered non-payment of entry fees and is an offense punishable by disciplinary action and cancellation of awards. Postdated cheques are not acceptable tender.

INFORMATION AND RULES Running Order: FDX and FDXCh classes will be run first followed by FDA, FD and FDJ. Course and Game: FDJ, FD, and FDA will be a single course with bird field. FDX and FDXCh will be a single course. FDX/CH, FDX and FDA dogs will be run in braces or individually where applicable with a by-dog for backing. Birds: Chukars will be used in all categories. Dead quail/chukars and/or pigeons will be used in the FDX water retrieve. Gunning: Done by “official” gunners only. All handlers must carry a starter pistol. Safety: All entrants, judges, gunners, volunteers who enter or are physically present on the test course, must wear blaze orange clothing and a blaze orange hat. Indemnity & Waiver: All participants are required to sign the attached VSO waiver on page 5 either in advance of or at the test. Any observer wishing to accompany and view a running dog in the test course must also sign a waiver. Immunization: All dogs must have current immunization status before being entered. Other: If a dog is not present at its starting point within 5 minutes after it is called for by the judges, it may be disqualified. Qualifying scores will be available at the end of each test from the Test Secretary. No training or running of dogs on the grounds before and during the tests. Bitches in season are not permitted on the grounds. Meals and Refreshments: Morning coffee and light snacks, lunch and refreshments will be available both days for a nominal fee to our entrants. Volunteers will be fed.

DRAWING & RUNNING ORDER Draw: Running order draw will take place at the home of Test Secretary in Moffat ON, 905-691-8706 on Tuesday September 27 at 8:30 PM. Drawing will be random; specific times cannot be guaranteed. Running Order: A running order will be e-mailed to all entrants who provide an e-mail address. The first two entrants of the day will also be notified by telephone.

PRIZES AND AWARDS  Standard CKC Blue Ribbons to all dogs with qualifying score.  Certificates to each dog completing the requirements for a title.  Gunners Award - Chosen by the official gunners from all dogs entered each day.

GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP All who attend our tests, in any capacity, are expected to conduct themselves in a manner which reflects credit to themselves, their dogs and the sport of purebred dogs, regardless of circumstance and location. Under Section 7 of the CKC Field Dog Test Rules and Regulations for Pointing Dogs, the Test Committee as well as Judges have the authority to expel any individual who, in their assessment, displays unsportsmanlike behaviour.
