Thanks for joining us on Sunday 4 December to celebrate the Carman’s Women’s Fun Run. Now in it’s 31st year, the Women’s Fun Run was the first and the largest women’s only fun run in Australia. We would like to thank you all for supporting our charity partner Breast Cancer Network Australia. BCNA are coming up to $100,000 raised and with your support we can help them get closer to their target of $250,000. Conditions are forecast to be hot so please start you pre race hydration in the days leading up to the event and drink plenty of water in the morning, during and after the event. Although it will be early and maybe dark when you arrive, make sure you put on plenty of sunscreen before you leave and stand in the shade when you can on the day. See you at Catani Gardens!

START CATEGORY All participants will be required to assemble at the start area at the times listed above, as per the wave category colour on your e-Ticket. The colour on the bib represents the distance you will be participating in. The timing chip is attached to the back of the bib. Please do not bend your bib as this will affect the timing chip and your results. PACE RUNNERS/ COURSE DISTANCE MARKERS HIIT Factory will be providing pace runners for the Red, Green and Yellow Groups. Pace runners will be located on the Right Hand Side of the road next to the signage for each start group. Try to start the event within your nominated start group, but if you start in a different this will not affect your overall time. Distance markers in your Bib colour will be displayed at 1km intervals to help keep you on track of your run (see page 1 for distance colours) RUNNING TIME You will be given two race times with your results. Your ‘overall time’ is taken from when the gun goes off and is what we will use to determine results at presentations. If you are vying for the overall or age group win, make sure you position yourself near the front of the start line. The other time is your ‘net time’ which is calculated from the time you cross the start line until you cross the finish line. BAG DROP - AVAILABLE WITH GOLD COIN DONATION FOR BCNA A bag drop will be available for you to leave a bag in a secure location during the event. When you hand your bag in at bag collection, your race number will be written on a wristband which will be attached to your bag. To collect your belongings you will need to present your event bib to staff. We recommend that you do not leave any valuables in the bag drop area, as SME360 assume no responsibility for lost or stolen items.
