Robycam – Special Camera System for Flying Cameras, Cranes or Rails Highclass performance, lighter heads and smarter motion-control makes Robycam the obvious choice for spectacular images. Robycam is a special camera system that consists of two elements: Gyro stabilized camera heads that allow for 1-2 D or up to 3 D camera movements are integrated with cable camera systems, cranes, sleighs or tracks. Together with a sophisticated remote control the systems produce spectacular images, never attained before. RobyHead – are Robycam’s gyro stabilized carbon-fibre camera heads impress with low weight, highest stability under the harshest production environments as well as opportunity for movements in any form. RobyHeads can be equipped with all market-based 2 / 3” box cameras and can be integrated in 1-2D and 3D motion controlled Robycam systems. Together with the sophisticated remote control, that has access to the heads as well as to cable systems, cranes or sleighs – Robycam provides spectacular images. The product range encompasses Robycam 1D, 2D and 3D systems.
The modular Robycam system starts for instance with Robycam 1D, which is a multi-functional cable aerial camera system that travels with 20 m / s maximum speed on 2 cables up to 1.200 meter long. The most comprehensive Robycam 3D system is ideal for large events indoor or outdoor. It uses four real time controlled automatic winches and a sophisticated motion control system that allows for smooth camera movements in 3D and very fast movements – up to 10 m / s in all axes. Action-diameters of 200m x 200m and more are possible. Since its introduction into the market in 2008 the system gets a lot of attention around the world and has been successfully used in sports, concerts and other major events. Recent productions include, but are not limited to: FINA Swimming World Championships 2015, Russia The X-Factor, Italy 2015 Coppa Italia Final 2015, Italy Several major concerts in Japan Covering the sermons during the Holy Month of Ramadan in the Sheik Zahid Mosque in Abu Dhabi, the biggest mosque in the United Arab Emirates. All Robycam and RobyHead products and systems are available for sale and rental.

RobyHead Family We are happy to introduce the RobyHead lineup of gyro stabilized camera heads. The heads differ in size and applications, but have the following common features: Light-weight and durable full-carbon monocoque body 3-axis full-digital gyro stabilization (except RobyHead 2D) Unlimited pan rotation Active roll with autohorizon Unified controls All heads, except RobyHead XS, have integrated Canon and Fujinon digital lens control and support external lens motors
RobyHead XS
RobyHead XS
RobyHeads are available in various sizes and offer the highest flexibility in daily productions.
RobyHead XS is one of the smallest professional gyro stabilized camera heads in the world. It was designed to work on a standard Polecam crane and can carry literally any camera that fits into the head’s dimensions. This includes, but is not limited to, microcameras such as Toshiba, Sinacam, etc. as well as Antelope Pico hyper slow motion camera. RobyHead XS deployed on a Polecam provides a unique combination of compactness, easiness of control and high-quality stable images. The head requires minimal preparation before shooting and optionally can be controlled from a RobyHead family desktop control panel. Compatible with standard Polecams Unlimited pan and roll rotation (limited only by wire length) Weight: 1.7 kg without a camera Payload up to 2 kg

RobyHead on crane
Light-weight RobyHeads enable special carrier solutions
RobyHead S RobyHead S is a 3-axis gyro stabilized camera head designed to work on small cranes. It is lightweight enough to work even on a Polecam, yet it is capable of carrying a wide range of cameras from Sinacam with standard broadcast lens to DSLR and even box cameras. Head controls include a crane-mounted control panel with a separate handle with lens controls or, alternatively, a single remote control panel with head and lens controls combined.
Supported configurations
Sinacam + Canon or Fujinon broadcast lens Hitachi DK-H100 + Canon or Fujinon B4 lens Sony NEX-FS700EK Sony PMW-EX3 Photo camera, e.g. Canon EOS 5D
Features 3-axis digital stabilization Pan and roll axis rotation 360° (limited only by wire length) Full-carbon monocoque body Weight: 3.5 kg Payload up to 5 kg Integrated interfaces for Canon and Fujinon lenses as well as external lens motor support

RobyHead R2
RobyHead L
RobyHead R2
RobyHead L
RobyHead R2 was designed to work with the Robycam cable system but it is also available as a separate product for mounting on cranes, blimps, etc. The head is dedicated to work with box cameras and provides everything needed for operating them – including power supplies and RCP connection.
RobyHead L is the biggest head within the product family. RobyHead L has been designed to work with studio and cinema cameras. The carbon body minimizes the weight of the head, which makes it suitable even for light-weight cranes. The head supports external lens motors as well as Canon and Fujinon digital lens controls.
Support all box cameras (Sony HDC-P1R, Panasonic AK-UB300 (4K), Panasonic AK-HC1800, GrassValley LDX Compact, Hitachi DK-H100, etc.), as well as Sony F55, Red Epic and similar.

Designed for studio and other heavier cameras Weight: 13 kg without camera
RobyHead 2D
RobyHead Family Desktop Control Panel
RobyHead 2D is a low-cost outdoor solution for 2D (Pan / Tilt) camera movement. It can be used both for stationary mounting (e.g. for beauty-shots at stadiums) or as rental equipment. The rotation angles are limited only by wire length and / or camera dimensions. The control panel combines both camera head and lens controls. Several camera heads can be controlled from a single control panel.
The control panel combines camera head and lens controls (including Iris if required) and provides settings adjustments via the menu screen.
Robyhead 2D can be supplied with a weather-protection case for the camera. The case fits such cameras as Sony HDC-P1R, Panasonic AK-HC1800, GrassValley LDX Compact, Hitachi DK-H100 and others, equipped with a standard Canon or Fujinon broadcast lens. The case provides IP67 protection rating and is equipped with a heater for low temperatures. Robycam Desktop Controller
The RobyHead Desktop Control Panel offers camera head and lens control.
