Insulation – Green by nature Insulation is one of few products which saves more energy during lifetime than used for its production The McKinsey study found that insulation was amongst the most costeffective CO2-abatement measures A typical Rockwool building insulation product save more than 100 times the energy used – a technical insulation product often 20,000 times The CO2 savings of 1 years of Rockwool production during its lifetime is around 4 giga tonnes – that equals one year’s combined emissions from Germany, Russia and India !
