The cap rates increased from 6.0 percent four quarters ago to 6.2 percent for the 3rd quarter 2013.
Development/Construction: The Los Angeles retail market witnessed 16 buildings that were completed totaling 410,028 square feet during the 3rd quarter 2013. Over the past four quarters, a total of 955,700 square feet of retail space has been built in Los Angeles County. In addition to the current quarter, 13 buildings with 133,235 square feet were completed in the 2nd quarter 2013.
