BT Cornwall provide mobile phone services to Cornwall Council as part of a managed contract with effect 01.07.2013. BT Cornwall are not subject to the FOI Act however in the spirit of openness, we can confirm that prior to this date EE were the main telephony provider. 3. Has there been any renegotiation on your existing contract within the last 24 months? If so, when was this, and please summarise changes. •

The contract was renegotiated in Feb 2012 renegotiated and extension of the contract ran from May 2012. Cornwall Council’s mobile phone contract has been novated to BT Cornwall with effect 01/07/2013.

a. The total number of active (attached to a SIM and in use by a member of staff) mobile phone handsets currently owned by Cornwall Council by type (iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Other. Please give as much detail as possible). • •

Cornwall Council does not currently own any handsets, they are owned by BT Cornwall who provide a fully managed ICT service. As of July 2013, our records show that 5622 connections made calls. The breakdown is made up as: 3749 x standard handsets, 1866 x BlackBerrys and 7 x iPhones.

b. The total number of active mobile phone handsets owned by Cornwall Council at the beginning of 2012 by type (iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Other. Please give as much detail as possible). This section of information is commercially sensitive and may affect current negotiations. The Council are currently transferring the EE contract to BT Cornwall (backdated to 01/07/2013). a. Does it have a pool of shared minutes for all employees to share, or does every employee get a set number of minutes (as in an individual consumer contract)? - If shared, how many minutes are available in the pool? - How many employees is this shared between? - What are the fair usage limits? - If set, how many minutes per employee? - If no minutes are included in the contract, what are the call rates (pence/min)? Please include variance in rates e.g. calls to the same network, other mobile networks, landlines etc.
