Suitable products at a glance Miyachi Europe is the market leader in development, manufacture and supply of equipment and systems designed for laser welding, laser marking, resistance welding and hot bar soldering and bonding.
Laser Welding Miyachi manufactures a full range of pulsed Nd:YAG industrial laser welding equipment with average power from 2W - 600W, and peak powers up to 10 kW. All lasers are standard equipped with a power feedback loop for maximum power stability of the laser. Miyachi’s latest innovations include a 1kW laser welder ML-6810A and a new “green“laser welder ML-8150A, which can weld highly reflective materials such as copper and gold.
Laser Marking Miyachi’s new fiber laser markers are designed for high speed laser marking, laser engraving and laser ablation resulting in high contrast marks on both plastics and metals. Miyachi laser markers can be tailored for optimised production and offer user configurable options and a very low cost of ownership.
Resistance Welding The combination of the Miyachi Peco MG3 process monitor and the Miyachi Unitek UB25-DC power supply with the Miyachi Unitek 70 series motorised weld head is an advanced Resistance Welding system preferred by medical device manufacturers. The UB25 is a closed loop DC-Power Supply specially designed for miniature parts. The 70 series motorized weld head offers repeatable electrode speed, position and hold time. The MG3 weld monitor adds force and displacement control together with powerful statistical analysis tools. This “dream team” system combines the ultimate in micro resistance welding and offers medical device manufacturers unique process stability, control and traceability.
Hot Bar Miyachi Europe is proud to offer a complete line of manual and semi-automated systems for reflow soldering, hot bar bonding, ACF laminating and heat staking applications. All systems include a Miyachi Unitek power supply, a bonding head and a thermode. Linear slides allow loading and unloading of parts away from the bonding area. Rotary table systems are designed for high volume production as parts can be loaded and processed simultaneously.

Miyachi Europe offers semi-automated as well as fully automated systems in both standard and customised versions. Through our Technology Centers we offer a range of services including feasibility testing, extended application development (consulting), optimization of process parameters, process qualification and on-site trouble shooting. Our labs are stocked with a large range of Hot Bar, Resistance Welding, Lasers, CNC Robots and Dispensing Equipment, as well as diagnostics equipment like Pull Testers, Cross Sectioning Equipment, Temperature Probes for in-situ measurements and microscopy. On request we also offer Helium Leak Testing.

The dedicated, knowledgeable and highly motivated technical service team is pleased to install, train, maintain and fix products and systems sold under the Miyachi, Peco, Eapro and Unitek brands. Technical Support is given for hardware and software ordered whether it is covered free of charge under warranty or covered as billable technical service per service call for spare parts and labor or according to special technical service contracts which vary from country to country Complex production processes, highest quality expectations and JIT supply chain requirements make technical service for installation, training, maintenance and repair a very important source to ensure maximum uptime.
