Flamingo Audio Rental Terms And Conditions Flamingo Audio wants your performance to run smoothly and be a success. When you call or email to talk about your rental, we’ll take the time to find out about your event, and help you select the best solution for your needs. When you’re picking up the gear give yourself plenty of time to ask more questions, check out the equipment, fill out the rental contract and load up. When you bring it back, be sure and tell us how the event went - we value your comments, and it helps us know what new inventory we should have! We check the gear before we send it out: Every item we rent is tested to make sure it’s in good working order. This takes time, so plan ahead! The golden rule of rentals is to be on time - it’s important to get the equipment back to us by the agreed upon time to avoid late fees and so we can test it for the next person (like the last folks did so we could be ready for you!) [email protected]. If you email your request, we’ll call back, and either way we’ll talk about: 1. Availability and cost of the rental equipment. 2. What kind of event we’re serving so we can recommend the best gear and services. 3. Rental reservation deposit. 4. Payment Terms: Credit Card, Check, or Cash. We honor your tax-exempt status upon receipt of your 501(c )(3) non-profit letter or resale certificate. 5. Damage and cleaning deposit: (credit card number only). 6. How will you take the gear with you? Do you want us to to deliver the equipment and and pick it up? 7. Pickup and return dates and times. 1. Availability and cost of rental equipment Equipment is subject to availability, so plan ahead - the “crunch seasons” are Christmas, Easter, Graduations, Summer Festivals, etc. Make sure you have a current price list. Prices listed are per day. Weekly rates are two times the daily rate. We will review the pricing for each item you are interested in at the time of reservation. 2. Information about your event Besides general billing information, we’d like to know about your group and event. What venue will you be using? How many performances will you be having? Is this a public or private event? What other systems will be used (lighting video, etc.?) The more we know about your plans the more we can help make sure you get the right gear, cabling, wireless frequencies, etc. 3. Rental reservation deposit Your rental is reserved when you pay 50% of the total rental price as a reservation deposit. This deposit is non-refundable. Besides this deposit, other information we’ll need to make the reservation is: Your name, and your group/organization’s name Phone number, second contact number Valid driver's license number Pickup/Return date and time Payment Information. We accept Cash, Check, VISA or MasterCard with picture ID. 4. Payment for the rental Payment for the balance or your rental is expected at time of pickup. Even if you pay with cash or check, you will also be required to provide a credit card to be swiped for the damage and cleaning deposit (see below). 5. Damage and cleaning deposit If the equipment is returned on time and in good working order, your credit card will not be charged If the equipment is returned late, we will charge the credit card based on regular day rates. If the equipment is returned damaged (except for normal wear and tear), unclean, or cables not properly coiled, or we will charge your credit card for the cost of the repairs needed to restore it to service, or for the cost of a replacement item, whichever is less. Insurance for full replacement value is the responsibility of the renter. 6. Transporting rental equipment Bring adequate packing gear: blankets, pads, rope, and a vehicle that can carry the size and weight of your gear. Your vehicle must keep equipment secure, dry and safe from the environment (dust, heat, direct sunlight, etc.). Equipment must remain in the possession of, and under full supervision of the renter. 7. Pickup and return Equipment pickup and return times will be coordinated individually with each client. The rental day is 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. Rentals are charged for time out of the shop If you’re running late on the return time, call! You may be able to avoid a late charge if it doesn’t impact another rental. Failure to return rental equipment will result in a criminal prosecution per WA state law RCW 9.45.060, and in accordance with criminal possession of a lease 9-A56395. Renter agrees to pay all collection fees, attorney’s fees, court costs, and any expenses involved in retaking of property or in the collection of rental charges or other damages to Flamingo Audio under the terms of this rental agreement. Delivery It’s big. It’s pink and green and blue. It has a liftgate. And it can bring your stuff to you. Call to talk about delivering the Flamingo Way. It’s pretty much like any other way, but this sounds more exciting. Long-Term And “Rilly Big Shew” Rentals For long-term rentals (over two weeks), or a large quantity of equipment, let’s talk about pricing options. Production Assistance Do you have the grand vision, but aren’t sure how to connect the wires to it? We can work with you to bring your creativity into technical reality. Call, email, or fax us that napkin drawing, and for a very reasonable fee, we can step through the design process with you. Liability Flamingo Audio will not be liable for accidental breakage, misuse, misconnection, or for any loss, delay, or damage of any kind. Renter agrees to hold Flamingo Audio, it’s employees, subcontractors and agents harmless from any liability. Renter assumes all risk in the use and operation of the equipment.
