Thesan S.p.A. Thesan S.p.A. was founded in 2008 with the mission of designing, realising and offering highly innovative and technological solutions in the field of renewable energy and green building. Thesan’s activity is carried out through two business units: t Renewable energy t Energy saving Thesan’s development originates from an idea of Savio’s Group, founded in 1889 and worldwide leader for aluminium frames components, basing its success upon the quality of products and the innovative technical, aesthetical and functional contents.
In 2012, Thesan Group reached a turnover of € 85 million, thanks to the collaboration of 450 employees and to the research and development of new products and innovative solutions. The high investments in research and development, which allow Savio to launch into the markets new products with high technological and design components, are the inherent characteristics of Savio Group, which invests 4 million every, 3,5 times more if compared to the average in the sector.

Renewable Energy Division. Renewable Energy is Thesan’s division dedicated to business development in the renewable Energy Field.
Value Projects Thesan operates worldwide in the development and realisation of power plants for the production of renewable energy. The activity mainly focuses on the realisation of photovoltaic and hydroelectric power plants in those markets offering high returns on investments, even without significant incentive systems. Thesan has the adequate competences to follow all the phases of the production chain, from the project development to the construction, management and maintenance of the power plant.

The production chain activities can be summarized as follows:
1) Project Development Drawing on its expertise in the design of steel and aluminum structures, acquired during the 125 years of activity of Savio Group and thanks to a team of over 40 engineers, Thesan is able to satisfy any requirement for the construction of photovoltaic power plants at any altitude and with any specific fixing requirements.
2) Construction In addition to offering support and advice in the assembly of its structures, the design of which also takes into account an optimization of the construction and maintenance costs, Thesan also offers Turn Key EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) services.

Both for its investments, that allow Thesan to increase its portfolio of green energy production, and for its activities as General Contractor as Turn Key EPC, Thesan takes upon itself the development, operational and financial risk linked to the realisation of the projects. For a part of its investments, there is the aim of ceasing the project within 12-18 months to investors that are not willing to take upon themselves the risks of development and construction.
3) Operation Thesan’s investments are financed through leasing contracts or medium/long-term project finance. Thesan can create added value in the operation phase thanks to the daily management of the asset and to the choice of O&M contractor leader in the sector.

The attention paid to every single detail ensures not only an incomparable constructive ease and speed of assembly, but also the maximum safety in every phase of assembly and maintenance. We use high-quality materials as aluminium EN-AW-6063, stainless steels and reinforced technopolymers with fiberglass to guarantee a long lasting mounting system.
Warranty. The well-established quality of our systems and of our simple and easy to use materials offers confidence and reliability to our clients. For this reason, we grant a 12-year warranty for all our products against any manufacturing or material defects.

WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE MUSE, THE SCIENCE MUSEUM BY RENZO PIANO, WHICH OPENED IN JUNE 20 13. Thesan has a central role in the realisation of this eco-museum: Thesan’s photovoltaic solutions, created ad hoc for this project, have been chosen in order to supply green and renewable energy to the museum. ADVANTAGES OF THE SYSTEM Quick assembly and low price. Hemera is directly fixed to roof structure. It is quick because it can be fixed together with roof insulation. The anchoring system requires no screws, being simply interlocking. Hemera roof can be assembled directly by the assembler. Little ordinary maintenance.
