he rejuvenated Mégane R.S. 265 boasts the impressive R.S. Monitor on-board telemetry system. Displayed on a 7" touchscreen tablet*, the R.S. Monitor captures real-time driving performance data which can be uploaded and shared online with Renault’s global driving community. The R.S. Drive system is another exciting feature on the Mégane R.S. 265 providing you with the option of various levels of stability control and engine response. Three modes– Normal, Sport and Race (ESC off) – allows the driver to control the sports handling and traction control systems. In Race mode the Electronic Stability Control is completely disconnected and the raw power of the Mégane R.S. 265 is unleashed.

Built with serious fire in its belly, the Megane R.S. 265 features a 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine that boasts maximum horsepower (265 hp) and peak torque of 360Nm.

THE R.S. CHASSIS: EXCEPTIONAL ROAD-HOLDING. Equipped with the renowned front double-axis strut system, the R.S. chassis developed by Renault Sport’s engineers ensures exceptional road-holding and optimum traction. The double-axis strut system, borrowed from racing cars, helps separate drivetrain and steering constraints for a better transition of power to the road. Combined with limited slip differential (only offered in cup variant), it is ideal both out on the road and on a closed track, where it delivers its best performance. The R.S. chassis provides maximum sportiness and is the fruit of Renault Sport’s technological innovation. NÜRBURGRING LAP RECORD FOR THE 2.0 16V TURBO! Delivering 265 hp (195 kW) at 5,500 rpm in sport mode, (and torque of 360 Nm from 3,000 rpm), the 2.0 16V Turbo engine ensures outstanding performance. This powerful engine is equipped with a camshaft angle variator at the intake for low-end torque and a turbo blowing at 1.5 bar of pressure for high revs. Redesigned to deliver maximum acoustic pleasure, the engine sound - especially when accelerating - is irresistible!
