Possibility of connecting backup battery for managing power failure (optional). The device configuration can be done via SMS or with use of dedicated APP. Use The TEL60.GSM is designed to allow remote activation of electrical devices or electro prepared as room thermostats, boilers, burners, heaters, zone valves, circulation pumps, irrigation systems, lights etc. through the GSM mobile network. Particularly suitable for plants for vacation homes where there is no fixed telephone network. We recommend the use of rechargeable SIM. General Function The TEL60.GSM has the following functionality: 2 relay outputs with independent control of the type normally open potential-free 250VAC 3rd bistable. Possibility of local control of the relay via button already on the device. Create a list of users authorized to interact with the device (filter incoming calls). Setting maximum 20 users. 1 analog input for temperature sensor type Ni1000 (optional) with the possibility of remote reading via SMS (range -30 .. + 60 ° C). 1 alarm input Potential free generic. The alarm condition generates sending a predefined SMS to the user list set. Temperature alarm with adjustable threshold. The alarm condition causes sending a predefined SMS to the user list set. The TEL60.GSM requires the insertion of a SIM card active in order to function; we recommend using rechargeable SIM. BASE CONFIGURATION The remote telephone TEL60.GSM is factory with the basic configuration already active with which you can do the following (via SMS or APP): • Activation / deactivation of the relay outputs • Scan the status of the relay outputs • Scan the status of the alarm. • Interrogation of the temperature probe, if present note: the interrogation of the analog installed with the termination resistor provides a response with a value between 15 and 25 ° C. EXTENDED CONFIGURATION The user, starting with the basic configuration already present, has the ability to customize the configuration of the device creating or modifying, via SMS or APP, some system parameters: creation enabled users list (filter incoming calls) with the definition of the level of access. For details, see the user manual. customization of the name recognition of inputs and outputs. modification of the operating logic of the inputs and outputs. Enabling the alarm notification to: - Closing IN1 - Temperature threshold (requires connection of a probe Ni 1000) - Blackout (if any battery backup)
Mechanical design The remote telephone dialer TEL60.GSM consists of a plastic housing complete with lid on which is present the external antenna connector. The plastic housing with the electronic circuit complete with connection terminals, the SIM card reader and a USB port for firmware updates. The device can be installed directly on a wall or mounting box 3 modules type 503. 2/8 Building Technologies HVAC Products

Layout + - Power supply input Use the supplied power supply only. Use of incompatible power supplies may cause irreversible damage to the device. Respect the correct polarity
OUT 1 - Relay output 1 Potential-free relay contact for control of special devices (boiler, zone valve, heater, etc.). Observe the max current rating of the electrical contacts indicated in the technical data
OUT 2 - Relay output 2 Potential-free relay contact for control of other devices (lights, irrigation, etc.). Observe the max current rating of the electrical contacts indicated in the technical data
TEMP - Analog input for connection of an LG-Ni1000 temperature sensor Terminals 1 and 4: not used Terminals 2 and 3: connect LG-Ni1000 sensor In the terminals 2 and 3 of the temperature input it is inserted a resistance of line termination. This resistance must be removed only in case a LG-Ni1000 sensor is connected.

The TEL60.GSM is powered by 12V DC 1A. The supply voltage must be a stable and compliant with SELV / PELV (safety low voltage). Using the power supply 230VAC / 12V supplied. The fuses, switches and wiring must conform to local regulations The connection cables of the probe should not be positioned parallel to the power cables such as fans, pumps, actuators, etc. The alarm input IN1 must be a potential free Observe the flow characteristics (voltage and current) of the relay contacts Mounting and installation The TEL60.GSM can be wall mounted or recessed box 3 modules type 503. Also: It is not permissible to install in damp or wet. Observe and comply with the conditions operating environment in the Technical Data Disconnect the power supply before installing or removing device Do not remove the SIM card with powered equipment! The antenna should be placed at least 2m away from any electronic equipment in the environment, at least 15cm from any obstacle and in a position to allow a good reception of the radio field. If while using the TEL60.GSM you notice malfunctions or disturbances in electrical equipment rooms, move the device to another location. Do not use the stylus antenna where the TEL60.GSM is used in high shielding. Use external antennas with characteristics that operate in the frequency band GSM Dual Band (890-960 MHz and 1710-1880 MHz) with nominal impedance of 50ohm Do not hold the antenna with your hands when the device is in use. This affects the quality of the connection, in addition to requiring the TEL60.GSM an increase in transmission power. Do not use the TEL60.GSM if the antenna is damaged. We recommend the use of antennas prescribed by Siemens AG. Operating instructions The insertion and removal of the SIM card must always take place in the absence of power. Otherwise the reading interface of the SIM card, inside the GSM module could be damaged Always disable the PIN code of the SIM card. The SIM card (not supplied) can be either enabled only voice traffic. However we recommend using SIM Cards that are enabled for data traffic and rechargeable type. Ensure that the area of use has adequate GSM coverage for the selected operator. Check for GSM signal through the appropriate LED on the device or via a normal phone. Place the device in an area as possible conducive to good signal reception (eg. Near windows or openings). If no signal or the signal is weak can, via an extension cable SMA, install the antenna in a better position. Do not feed TEL60.GSM without first having connected the whip antenna supplied: otherwise the power section of the radio transmitter in the GSM unit could be seriously damaged. Do not use the equipment for safety since it is not provided by the operators of the mobile phone network, no assurance on the timing of forwarding SMS messages to and from your device. Configuration Commissioning can be performed by unqualified personnel. The TEL60.GSM comes with a default configuration that can handle the following commands: - Activation and / or deactivation of the two outputs (SMS or APP) - Interrogation of the temperature probe (if present) 4/8 Building Technologies HVAC Products

• The extended configuration of TEL60.GSM can be set and changed at any time by the user through SMS generated by any mobile phone • The activation of the two control outputs can take place in a totally independent manner. It is possible in any case to enable and / or disable the outputs locally using the button on the device according to the following binary sequence: Button

Alarm The TEL60.GSM is able to handle the following alarms: - Alarm contact closure IN1 - Alarm for exceeding the threshold temperature - Alarm of power failure (only if connected and the backup battery) Note: Do not use alarms above for safety functions but only for the purpose of monitoring. Alarm contact closure IN1
This alarm may come from any device which needs to monitor its status. The contact must be a potential free. The closure of the contact causes the sending of a text message to all users on the USER list (both fixed and mobile numbers). Alarm temperature
This warning can occur only if the temperature sensor LG-Ni1000 is correctly connected to the appropriate input. You need to set the alarm and reset according to a hysteresis loop. The values themselves will define the alarm activation logic. If the ALARM value is greater than the RESET value will initiate an alarm if the actual value is higher than the alarm, so the alarm will stop if the present value is lower than the reset. If the ALARM value is less than the RESET value, operating will be reversed. The factory setting is ALARM = 5 ° C and RESET = 6 ° C (frost protection temperature). The user has the ability to change the alarm thresholds and reset according to the examples below. The alarm is triggered, sending a text message to all users on the USER list (both fixed and mobile numbers). SMS Command SMS Action Response TEMP ALARM=5
