No unauthorized vending - if you haven't paid for a booth, you can not sell or distribute anything on the festival grounds.

Festival Fee Schedule Agents and Services under separate agreement* Market Vendor Craft Vendor $150 $50 (See Below) Artists Community Group $ $50 • Market Vendors are supplied with two tables (60" x 30" approx.) Craft Vendors are supplied with one table. • Neither food nor drink may be offered for sale or on a complimentary basis from Market or Craft booths. All food and drink concessions are controlled under separate concession agreements. • Contributions from Artists to help with the cost of the festival would be most appreciated. (i.e. Face Painting, Clowns, Balloons, ...) • Person's representing the Community organization are at event to showcase their group and inform the public about their work in the community. For distribution of literature only, NO VENDING PERMITTED. You cannot sell anything on the festival grounds. Violators are subject to confiscation and/or ejection. • Market displays include commercially made items, products and professional services. Commercial participants may display, advertise and take orders. The right to sell the product/service at the Event requires the prior approval of LSF. • No one may have give aways without prior approval from LSF (ie. Balloons etc…) LIABILITY RELEASE: In consideration for being permitted to take part in this event, we agree to perform diligently, preventing harm or injury to ourselves or others, and to keep indemnified the Latinos in Action Vancouver Foundation Society of British Columbia, Latin Summer Fest Committee and/or the City of Vancouver, and their respective agents, officials, servants, and representatives from and against all claims, actions, costs, expenses, and demands in respect to death, injury, loss, or damage to persons or property, howsoever caused arising out of or in, notwithstanding that the same may have been contributed to or occasioned by the negligence of the said bodies or any of their agents, officials, servants, or representatives. It is understood and agreed that this agreement is to be binding on the applicant, its heirs, executors, and assigns. GUIA DE VENTAS - FESTIVAL

El evento de un dia ofrece entretenimiento de la comunidad Latina y esta dedicado a todo aquel que guste de la cultura Latina. Un dia en familia en el parque, un festival de color, belleza y alegria. Todos pueden mostrar y traer su bandera de origen. Los arreglos comienzan a las 8 a.m. y el cierre despues del ultimo show a las 7 pm. Todo vendedor debe estar listo antes de las 11 a.m. Los colores del festival son verde, Amarillo rojo y blanco. Las carpas de venta deben ser 10x10 y de color blanco o verde – aprobar con la coordinacion. Este festival no tolera ningun tipo de alcohol durante el evento. Se les ruega a todo participante en todo momento de conducirse profesionalmente. Pagos : Aplicacion sin deposito previo resulta en no alocacion de espacio ni reservacion. Todos requieren pago previo al 15 Julio minimo de 50% Espacio : Espacio pre -asignado antes al evento es de un area de 10x10 espacio mayor requiere otros pagos. El festival no garantiza ventas a ningun aplicante y no habra devolucion por inclemencias del tiempo ni otro contratiempo fuera de nuestro control. Exhibidor: provee sus propios materiales y estan preparados para la interperie [carpa, parasol] Uds son responsables de su carpa y materiales necesarios, este debe ser profesional y fuerte. Mantenga su area immediata libre de desperdicios y basura, debe entregar su espacio limpio al concluir el dia. Las mesas deben estar cubiertas y las cajas, materiales extra fuera de la vista publica. Electricidad : No es proveida. Su generador debe ser pre aprovado con la aplicacion ya que solo un numero limite de generadores se aceptan en el parque. Contactenos por info donde suplir electricidad. El festival reserva el derecho de no admicion y tiene la decision final en todo asunto referente al evento. No se permite venta alguna, solo adecuada distribucion de pamfletos. Ventas sin permiso son causa de cancelacion y confiscacion. [F] Mercaderia de productos comerciales y servicio profesionales : espacios comerciales pueden vender, lucir, promover y tomar ordenes. Derecho a venta de producto/servicio en el evento requiere previo registro del LSF + no se permite regalar ejemplares sin permiso [globos, etc] INDEMNIZACION Por el derecho a participar en este evento, acordamos de regirse, prevenir danos y perjuicio propio ni a otros, la sociedad LAV Foundation, Comite del LS Fest y /o la ciudad de Vancouver, sus agentes, oficiales y representantes de todo reclamo accion legal, costo, gasto y demanda en respecto a muerte, perdida, danos a personal y propiedad derivado de o durante dicha ocurrencia fuera ocasionada o a causa de negligencia de dichos cuerpos o sus representantes agentes, oficiales. You are invited to attend the 8th Annual Latin Summer Fest. The festival will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2009, at Trout lake Park. It is a free one-day event with entertainment from the Latin community. It is an event for everyone, with an interest in things Latin. A family day in the park. This is a festival of colour, bright and cheery. Everyone is encouraged to bring and display flags from their native origin and participate in the opening procession. Setup begins at approximately 8:00 a.m. and ends after the last performance at approximately 7:00 p.m. ALL Vendor Booths must be ready before 11 a.m. The festival colours are: Yellow, Green, Red and White. All other tents or coverings to be Green or White in colour, unless otherwise approved by Festival Coordinator. Our policy regarding alcohol in the festival is: NO ALCOHOL IN FESTIVAL AREA. It is our wish that vendors will conduct themselves in a professional manner. •

Space is available on an assigned basis only. Spaces are approximately 10' X 10' where the tent should fit in this space. There will be NO REFUNDS due to bad weather or other occurrences beyond the control of the Latin Summer Fest. Latin Summer Fest does not guarantee Vendor sales. Deposits are non-refundable unless event is cancelled by Latin Summer Fest. Exhibitors will provide their own booth setups and should be prepared for inclement weather. Exhibitors must bring their own tent and display needs. Displays must be sturdy, professional, and tasteful. Exhibitors must maintain a clean booth and surrounding area during the event and leave the area clean at the end of the event. All tables must be covered on all four sides to the ground. Boxes and other materials must be stored out of sight. Electricity is not provided. Generators used must be registered on the application and received prior approval from the Latin Summer Fest. Only a limited number of generators are allowed. Please contact us for information on sourcing generators.

The Latin Summer Fest reserves the right, and participant acknowledges Latin Summer Fest right, to have and make final decision on all matters regarding the event. Latin Summer Fest reserves the right to remove, without compensation, participant for noncompliance to these CONDITIONS AND GUIDELINES, and/or to Latin Summer Fest request. Admission to our market does not guarantee an ongoing reservation.
