Excursion (Thuesday 26th afternoon) Tour in Reims: Coronation City, Reims, is rich of traditions, but also the modern and lively capital of the Champagne region. Reims is located within 45 min from Paris by train. The champagne wine takes the name from this province. The patient research of the Champagne winegrowers gave birth to a development method of an effervescent wine considered by the specialists as being the best in the world. Reims is also famous for its Cathedral. Notre-Dame de Reims is, in fact, one of Europe's most important Gothic structures. A virtual view could be followed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYWgZ9Cp9iU

Vranken Pommery cellar visit (Thuesday 26th afternoon) Pommery is one of the top Champagne houses. The domaine is located in Reims. A virtual tour as well as a short presentation of the domain Pommery sould be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFy7tfVwuCE&feature=related
